Hello I'm traffic control in New Zealand but looking to relocate to Queensland. I've got 10yrs experience but I know things are a bit different in Australia.
If you're a ute driver you should have no problems finding work.. if you're just a level 1 TC, you may not get so much. i only get about 3 days per week on average.. hope this helps buddy. :D
@@danielgfrost cheers man, I drive a ute & traffic truck & am a level 2/3 in New Zealand but definitely looking for 5 days a week of full-time hrs. Thanks for replying 🙂
@@rokstedy7152 Thats ok mate.. Thanks for watching.. Regarding the TC work.. there's plenty of night work too.. pays over AU$40. 8-10hrs each night.. can make some good money if you can hack the nights... :D keep me posted on how you go with work mate?

Hi Daniel My name is David would you mind if I could ask you a couple of questions about traffic control, some basic procedures, I have had my certification for just over year now and I am looking at pursuing the career. Hope to hear back from you soon..
@@danielgfrost cheers man I received my traffic control imp and tcr in new south wales as mentioned about a year and a half ago and learnt nothing in the two day course well almost nothing I just want to throw a couple of questions out to you as I am a bit hesitant in applying for job, one being all advertised want experienced tc's, I am thinking of approaching a company or two after tax time to see if they would take me on for a couple of weeks un paid work experience I guess I am lacking confidence in approaching companies to jump straight into paid work I was given a basic two minute run down on the procedures such as on coming traffic, a little confused if say I would be working on a three way intersection, a in bound and put bound situation I see as pretty standard on the 2 way
