It’s a disgrace that a first generation American Citizen has more Patriotism and excitement about our most important National Holiday. Leave her be. She’s not done any structural damage as far as can be seen. Sometimes rules can be bent a bit. If they can have a Halloween decorating contest why not one flag or bunting for Independence Day? There was a time when all of the neighbors would’ve backed her up and put buntings out also. Where has the sense of National Pride gone?😤😠

That beautiful lady needs to keep standing her ground and I pray that God will give her the money for the fines cuz that's absolutely ridiculous. If we allow this to happen they will do it all over. It needs to stop. The flag should always be flown. With respect as she is doing.
It won’t be long before she’s homeless and searching a new affordable apartment. Don’t get into pointless squabbles with ppl who own the home that you live in. They can get tired of all of the nitpicking complaints against them and calling the news media on them and refuse to renew your lease or find you in legitimately in default on something they would’ve otherwise ignored if the circumstances were different. Texas is different from New York State and California. Property owners have far more latitude

They’re gonna go silent on her until her lease ends then they’ll throw her out or she’ll leave. Of course, her new prospective landlord will want to find out from the previous landlord/property manager what she was like as a tenant and the new one will get an earful and be thankful that they dodged a bullet with her.
If you allow this flag/decor hanging from the balcony then others will complain about not being able to hang stuff from their balconies as well. It’s not your house, lady.

When I signed my lease it said no flags of any kind are to be displayed. It’s like that at most apartment complexes …also she will now have a bad mark on her rental history so there’s that too.

I bet there's some atty in the area needing a little free publicity that could help this woman. A legal letter or two will usually stop this mess.
