The Cambridge B2 First listening test has 4 parts, 30 questions, and takes about 40 minutes.
Part 1 - listen to 8 recordings, each with one question

Part 3 - multiple matching, 5 speakers
Part 4 - a longer recording, with 7 multiple choice questions
You will hear the audio twice

I don't understand why the answer to question 23 is G and not the other one. I don't have a clue
you guys here did so well.Could you give me some tips on this kind of listening test?. Honestly, i perform better in the note, flow-chat, sentence completion and the like. But for multiple choice, I am totally hopeless. Though I have spent hours a day to practice, it seems to be little progress. Because this listening part accounts for a high grade in the entrace exam in my country, it is really important for me. Now, i am confused and don't know why i can't improve my band huhu

I have 28/30 only due to the fact that it was my second attempt to deal with this example. Therefore the score is quite good, however I still didn't catch the word 'feather' and 29 was quite confusing to catch that it was all about one subjects. Sometimes speakers' phrases are heard so weird especially when you don't quite familiar with vocabulary or it was used in an unexpected combination. For example "in my freshman year" was heard by me as "in my fresh manner' and of cause it ruined the whole understanding, hilarious.
Yes, that's why we need to learn more to understand different accents and phrases. However, 28/30 is a really excellent score. Keep it up.

If I wrote "seat" instead of "seats" is it considered an error (zero points)?
yeah, unfortunately in this particular part spelling and correct grammatical form are crucial. There might be optional words, they are usually given in brackets, so if you are mistaken with these optional words, but the essential word will be appropriate, you won't be penalised, that is how I interpret the scoring system.
