I really like how you used your friend for this video and got his reactions. I just want sponsors so I can do that and have so much shit I just give it away to the kids at my local fields like I did a bit last year. I also love how you're just honest about not knowing the gun and relying on his expertise to compare the versions, very smart.

I wish I kept my ssg10 and I'd of bought the ssg96 MK2 too, it's way more heavier than the ssg10 so good for those at a higher joule limit as they can lay and wait for those kills where the ssg10 is good for movability especially us at 1 joule. You lift the ssg96 and instantly go..... This is a beast lol
@MagpieAirsofter oh 💯 when i had my L96 many years ago it was a different game style altogether. Love the classic look and design. Maybe dave or foxy will lend me theres for a day to game it
@@irishbushwookie yeah I love the look of it and I actually prefer the grip style for me was better than the ssg10 and more comfortable. Was just a shame that the ssg96 gen1 took so long to sort the silly issues out. I think you'll be impressed when you do have a go with it
this barrel/bucking choice is questionnable : lets hope it work, cause the external barrel doest seems to be standar dtype 96 spec. The mk1 retail for 300 now. So the mk1 version with an hop up upgrade (for example airsoft pro chamber/tdc/nub + a barrel/bucking or maybe a simple triddos tdc) will make the mk1 around 400. Nice to see that l96 lovers have options.
So far so good with the bucking/barrel combo. I hate brass though. It tarnishes quickly, so loses its inside polish quickly. Let’s hope I can convince Stalker to make me a lovely Stainless steel one!!
aside from my experience with the ssg24 fully upgraded i can say thay seeing this in action out of the box id be content in knowing that its a rifle worth its weight in cash ft The Magpies face when he seen it hehe i seen how disheartened he was getting rid of his mk1 so hopefully hes back at what hes good at soon 🎉
Hello I would like to purchase sniper that doesnt need much work from stock version. I was going to buy Silverback tac 41 P and just change spring for beginning. This is cheaper more than 100€. Is it good for field as stock version? From what I saw at reviews silverback can fire quite good 70-80m out of the box.
The tac41 has a variance in hop nub size which is why some people struggle with getting it to lift bbs. I haven’t done anything to my SSG96 mk2 and it was very very good. I have Magpie and a few others shots with it and they were very impressed.
Having used bothe the tac41 and the ssg96 MK2 they both feel as solid as eachother, there are a few half decent snipers out of the box, a spring change and possibly change in the hop rubber and you can be good to that range without spending a fortune
Dont make a Review if youre not even showing the "new" internals. Especially the old, outdated design of the MK1 SSG96 hop up bucking should be atleast mentioned.
is it possible to upgrade an ssg96 mk1 to mk2 by changing outer/inner barrel + hop up unit + cylinder head? Or should change the receiver too? (Ps: I own novritsch ssg96 mk1 and the only reason that i wish to change mk1 to mk2 is better hop up chamber(i suppose) with more control over it.)
By the time you swap everything out it’s gonna cost more than just getting an MK2. I know Tridos has some new TDC for the mk1 which may make it a better RIF for you
@@Akastaten Thanks for the answering. The reason behind that i stay away from tridos tdc hop up or action army hop up is tinkering. I do not have any skill to tinker the outer barrel which may probably result with catastrophic failure. (Edit: i am new to this hobby. Mostly tinkering videos are for ssg10 model. But ssg96 already have tdc based hop up unit. I am not sure if its possible to place tridos tdc on ssg96 without puncing, filing, cutting etc.)
It’s a nice weight. I’m pretty small and don’t have a problem with it. If you need a light RIF just by an MTW and tell your workmates during the week how good you are at Airsoft.

Yeh easily done if you prefer the look. I have since modded my piston to accept a Scorpion airbrake which is nice
