Venice Beach Manual Trash Collection - L.A. City Rec & Parks

This was filmed back in October 2017. Here's one of the now retired diesel front loaders from the West L.A. Sanitation Yard. At the time, normally, an old Diesel Volvo Amrep Octo FL (link below) from the Rec & Parks department collected on the boardwalk but when this was filmed, it was either broken down or rumored to be retired. So the Rec & Parks department borrowed this truck in the meantime from the Sanitation Department. This truck has been retired for a few years now and at last check, it was still running in Mexico: flic.kr/p/2j9sM2U. I'm unsure what or if this route is still a thing on the boardwalk.
