Huge book, but i'm sure much like his previous books, it will become a refrence for both teachers and scholars. Jack's approach has always been comprehensive and touching issues that many other Western scholars neglect. I'm thinking here of standards movement, CEFR, CBLT. By the way , I need such a large house in New Zealand to write such a comprehensive volume, without the assitance of the editors of Cambridge.
What complicates me in this book are the existing questions. You want to try the teacher, and we have so far been without a job, and the reason is the situation in the country. Hahaha
