Thank you! I just noticed my flanged pan head nuts was missing and the pin worked itself a third of the way out. It appears to be a M4x0.7 thread so I just went to Ace hardware to buy one.

I think I agree with you. I just replaced bushings on my other seat post after about 3000 miles. Seems like bushing replacement going to be an annual routine. Not sure how it compares to other brands though.
@@etischer what is this "other seat post " , I should avoid that one as well. I have a Suntour NCX seatpost, only use for a few days , it is squeezing now
2000 miles for the bushings to wear out is quite poor for such a premium priced product, almost seems like the bush design or material is not fit for purpose. Have experience of other issues with seat posts from this company where the pitch adjustment repeatedly comes loose even when torqued to spec and carrying a person significantly lighter than the max limit
I agree, 2000 miles is nothing, I'll be changing seat post bushings more frequently than changing tires. At least the bushings are replaceable, we'll see how long this second set lasts, I was debating if I should put some silicone grease in the joints to reduce wear... The rear Allen head screw for the seat clamp easily strips out too. I replaced the screws on my three other bikes and I can get the new screw tighter without worrying about it stripping. Might be worth trying.
