Thanks for sharing the breakdown of the table. I just picked up a 1976 Jet-15 and am thinking about doing the same.

I just closed a deal on one like yours along with a 9 inch south bend lathe and now I will need to make some room in my already cramped up garage so that i can bring them home. Im new to the game but i intend to get a few good ole books and start from there at 50 years old lol

Damn, the lost footage was what I was looking for... lol...
Need to take my new to me Jet 16 apart, & was looking for clues.
    Hopefully, re-assembly will do.
I have the same X-axis power feed, but it's mounted horizontally. Like to change it, the adapter is in the way. Either change it, or make a different adapter.

Man, thank you for posting these videos. I just bought a jet16 and haven’t picked it up yet. Watching everything your doing give an idea of what I’m going to have to do. Are you pleased with over all performance? If you don’t mind me asking what did you pay for it? Cheers from Chicago, we have a blacksmithing/homesteading channel WroughtIronfarm if you’re interested check it out.

Yes... I am very happy so far... If you watch.. you will see all of the mods that I have done.
Price.. Along with the mill, I got the stand that it sits on... an 11 drawer Kennedy tool box with a bunch of end mills... like maybe 40 end mills.. An almost complete collet set.. plus a mill table clamp set, the large Bridgeport vice and a smaller tilting vice. All in price, $750

@@LVVideoGuy I wish there was a way to send you pics. I got this thing home and unloaded. It’s in really good shape and came with stuff I have no idea what this stuff is. I have a lot to learn! Keep sharing with us, if you could do a video on the different collets, mills and drills that would help a noobie like me. Cheers
