Thank you for this! In 1999 when I was working at THE SOURCE magazine. And that contract came down for the “Hard Knock Life Tour”. Meeting the soldiers from Dash’s army I knew he vibrated on a different frequency. I never even seen Dash on that tour but his presence was felt. I just wanted to be in the hip hop space! I was a soldier myself. Then I said fuck this I want to be a general. So I created the world’s number one reggae website. Become a general! When he says he teaches by people watching him that’s real shit! This interview was rough and raw to the point I had to laugh. Cause you can’t cry in front of a general. LIKKLE MORE FIYAH YUTES!

@Adrian I agree that in this particular interview he doesn’t necessarily lay out his whole blueprint but I’ve seen other interviews he’s done where he gives a little more detail in how he might have set certain things up. His message is always the same though...his point is always that if you own it you make all the calls that really matter and to learn what real power looks like. He’s demonstrating what he means by having EYL film this episode in a studio he owns. I think he’s showing us beyond just telling us. Just my two cents 🤷🏽♀️
