    Great job. I have a pair of J11 that I'm working on now. Not sure if I want to do a red dye/paint on the outsoles, cause I can't get them back to icy blue look. I didn't see it yet, but will look if you have a video on that.

      I haven’t done a video yet on how to get your yellowed soles back to the icy color yet. But I do know there are a few of them on TH-cam. I have heard that sole bright or salon 40 can work well. Just need to let them sit in the sunlight or under uv lights after applying sole bright/salon 40.
      Hope that helps!! Good luck!

      Thanks so much!
      One thing I wish I would have done to make it easier is just to use painters tape along the patent leather so I didn’t have to worry as much about acetone getting on it. And ignore any Alphaflex talk too. I did a comparison and Angelus for paints and LK for topcoat is the way to go.
      Hope this video helps if you do this to your 11s 😊

    I wanna do the entire sole black... do I use the same paint brand?

    • @HJartistry
      @HJartistry  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can. I believe Angelus recommends their leather dye and sole bright. Another option is actually one that most sole dye small business sell. It’s from candelchem- it’s a candle dye that they rebottle and sell. It works really well too. www.candlechem.com/coloring.htm#Liquid
      Is the link for liquid dyes.
