Glorious! Many thanks for the great upload.The Musical Offering is a masterpiece in terms of its musical genius, use of puzzles, and intriguing history. In terms of interpreters of Bach, keyboard or otherwise, I hold Karl Richter and Glenn Gould in the highest stature. I wish the inimitable Mr. Gould would have recorded his interpretation of this masterpiece.
Listening the perfomance of Kujijken brothers & Konhnen, to my surprise, somebody recommended the Richter's perfomance. It is true: altought both are at the most top level, Richters's is perhaps somehow more friendly and warmer. Fantastic!.
I'm listening to this version for the first time and you had well expressed what we can feel while listening to it.
Without making any judgement, I would add that the musicians seem much more relaxed in this version. What a gift from Heaven is Bach's music.
