I didn't realize the U-frame wasn't installed worldwide. I like what you've got going on there and the idea to attach up to the forward points later. Got me thinking.
What size are those spacers you put in for the h brace I’m doing the same thing my stock brace was rusted out and gonna need the spacer thanx man for the help I needed for mine
@@TwoFourSevenDIY awesome thanks do you by any chance know if it would pass inspection without the u brace and with just the h brace that’s the same as you have
I can only really speak for the state I live in and here in NY it passes just fine. Some states are more strict on certain things but I don't see why this should cause them to fail it.
@@TwoFourSevenDIY yeah i just got to that part - the info about the MAF is very 2008-2012, you should be able to clock it without an issue but try to make sure you keep your air source plumbed external of the engine bay. There is a very budget friendly way to splice out the IAT wiring from that MAF sensor and then run it to a stand alone IAT right before the throttle body, which should greatly help drivability and on boost conditions. Combine this with carberry and run MAP instead of MAF and the car will feel totally different.
Thanks for the info, I'll have to look into it. Car is coming off the road for the winter soon so I'll probably mess with drivability stuff closer to the spring time

Yea that's just what I read when doing research.

At work currently, when I get home I'll see if I can find the invoice, can't remember the size off the top of head.
Just looked it up ... size was 1" outer diameter, .5" inner diameter @ 1.5" long.
Part # 92415A156 from McMaster-Carr if you want the exact ones

why don't u just clock ur maf sensor? or better yet since ur running FMIC, just flash the ecu with the carberry rom and go speed density?
I explained that I didn't want to chance possibly throwing off the current tune by clocking it.
