    Agree with the other comment, you deserve more views, especially for international students trying to find a good flying school.
    I think I might pick this school, because I like the fact its based in Richmond, and also Delta and I’ve always wanted to learn on a Diamond plane.

      That's a perfectly good reason to want to fly there. Also I've heard Diamonds are really fun to fly, you will have a good time!

    the CFI at SLA is top notch and thats very important.

    As a student at SLA, I confirm 100% of this is absolutely true. I would even add that the scheduling is not as bad as it sounds. Yes, booking for next week may be difficult, but regularly scheduling ahead will always guarantee you to have a slot you want. Booking 2, 3 weeks ahead is usually pretty easy.

      That's great; this info is super old though, so I'm sure things are going to be considerably different than they were when I first published this.

      Hi there! I'm interested in knowing more about your experience at SLA, would you mind connecting with me? Thanks a lot!

      Thank you so much =) I just started the channel very recently so I understand that it will take a while for more people to see these, but I do hope more people see these so that they can make good decisions about which flights schools they will attend. Please feel free to share with anyone else you know that is considering flying in Canada.

      @@sparshdevsharma9714 Sounds good! It's definitely a good school, but just make sure you get on the waiting list ASAP because the waiting list is anywhere from 3 months to a year long right now there so if you wanna start by at least late 2021 or early 2022 you wanna get on that. Also, make sure to hit up the BC General Aviation and Canadian Student Pilot Facebook groups (and the flying canucks discord) to talk with some current students to learn more about it before you finally go if you can. I know they are in the middle of an audit and some other things right now so things are busy, but will definitely get better.

    Hey there! Thanks so much for all those information. Would you say it makes a big difference if you start learning with a stick or a yoke? Especially for getting a job afterwards?

    • @LateDeparture
      @LateDeparture  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a great question. I trained in both stick and yoke planes and I gotta say it's really educational to fly in something like a tail-dragger with a stick, but in terms of just regular 2 seater aircraft it doesn't make a huge difference. In a video I just posted moments ago I got the opportunity to fly in a DA-40 which has a stick and honestly it wasn't a huge difference to me. In terms of career opportunities I haven't gotten there yet so I couldn't tell you, but perhaps some more experienced pilots on some of the online groups could weigh in on this?

      @@LateDeparture perfect thanks so much for your response. I heard so far that it really doesn’t make a difference with what you start learning. I just thought that it might be a lot different to land the airplane maybe.I am thinking of going to either pacific rim or sea land air.

      I’ll actually have a intro flight on Monday at pacific rim! I’ll also do another one at sea land air probably.
