Welcome back to the HORSCH AgroVation Farm Timelapse. Today, our agenda involves the corn harvest operation, coupled with a strategic investment in a grain drying complex to enhance profitability. We've diligently prepped the construction site, meticulously removing the piles of rubble, ensuring a smooth start.
As construction nears completion, our focus turns to readying the equipment for the impending corn harvest. Our primary workhorse is the CLAAS LEXION 8900 combine, boasting an impressive 18-meter corn header. Complementing this is the presence of a FENDT 936 VARIO tractor and a trusty HAWE ULW 4000 trailer in the field. These machines facilitate the seamless transportation of harvested corn to the unloading terminal within the complex, where the drying process begins.
Following the corn harvest, the equipment returns to its designated parking area. The next task on our agenda: crafting grass silage bales. For this endeavor, we deploy a MacDon M1170 mower in conjunction with a FENDT 724 VARIO tractor, which is equipped with a FENDT ROTANA 180 XTRA-V baler. With efficiency in mind, we systematically process one grass field at a time, then efficiently fold up the equipment and relocate to the next field, ensuring a streamlined and productive workflow.
