is the door on the opposite side in the UK than it is in the US?
Love this car, and other than the fact that it has such a small engine, ive heard almost no complaints from any other reviewer yet (other than whatd youd expect at a low price, obviously you wont get the worlds finest leather and a frappuccino maker) If hp is something to be desired, buy the veloster turbo coming out in a few months.
Lets also not forget that it is, in fact, A CAR, it doesnt need to go super sonic, its MPG and usability make it an excellent car.

I don't understand the point of the door system, if you can integrate it that well into the styling that you can barely notice the extra door on one side, whats the advantage of not having it on the driver's side too?

I tell you something guys. I drive Hyundai Getz every day for 100 000 kilometers and it never broked ! Every morning it starts in first try and its an excellent city car. Why? Because its short so its exremly easy to park. I like Veloster. But Im waiting for Veloster turbo!
This isn't the Hyundai Coupe.. There's the Genesis Coupe and not to mention the New Elantra Coupe

i really like the design. I must say it's the cheapest head-turner car, but why is just 3 doors?
I always believe that design should be in harmony with its purpose, and I can't find any purpose in equipping that beautiful car with just 3 doors.
Veloster Turbo, lets hope its better.

5 year warranty in Europe? Hyundai won't even mention their cars in the US without a 10 year warranty.
Two things:
1. This car looks mean and would love to see it in full "GTI" spec
2. Did this guy forget about the Hyundai Coupe. The most recent one was quite good
Alfa Giullietta looks like a coupe, has 5 doors and can have 235hp. Why not?
I love how everybody that know nothing is bitching about this car but in the other and all the pros in the biz know this car is going to sell alot thus making alot of money... a decent car, decent looks, 5doors with a decent price in a downturn economy ;)

Look there is more to a car than racing and I hate that most of you so called "reviewers" seem to be only able to look at cars from 0-60 not features and comfort. I think it is a sign most need to retire because they think so 20th century!
People complaining with all the wrong reasons. The styling? 3 doors? Weak engine? NO. It's the handling. As long as it handles and gives you feedback, this would've been a great car... but no. Hyundai scrapped the idea of building a "good car" and went with the idea of building a "marketable car".
Hmm looks like a herp derp version of the old Citroen C4 coupe.
Just wait until the turbo version and then tell me again.

Come on....this car is unik, very special and wunderfull to drive.
This car is not to compete with the scirocco! They have the Genesis coup for that!

Every review I see of this car says the same thing. The engine is the let down. Such a shame as it looks great. However I don't understand why Hyundai just put the engine from the Kia Rio into this car. Why make a car that looks so sporty that has an engine that doesn't have much get up and go. I hear theres a turbo on the way but I think by the time it gets priced in Australia it wont be good value.

@Rawrtrigga They haven´t come an enomours way at all, they still make the same cheap copies of other cars, this is obviously a Megane Coupe copie,and this is always the problem, cheap materials and a a copied design, coped with an everyday engine less pricey compared to a Megane for example and there, wow, Gods be praised.
This car its made for a world who dosnt exists who needs a 3 door car? if you buy a small car like this one you are SINGLE , and no ones will sit in the back , of course except if you are going to an orgy... i still prefer the mini or the a1 , ah and almost forgot it , here in brazil its cost about 32k euro...

That 3 door thing is retarted, four doors are more useable and two would look more clean...don't get it.
theres a stupid design flaw with this car....if u can fit 3 u can fit 4.....so why not

Yep, Scirocco for me too, I personally don't like the 2 and 1 door set up, why would you only put 1 door on one side and 2 on the other, pointless! 2 or 4 doors, make up ya mind.
