The mystery behind a newfound photo allegedly taken of the Halifax Explosion

This incredible photo surfaced on Reddit claiming to be from the Halifax Explosion.
But no one had ever seen it before. So the question was: is it real?
To find the answer, CBC Nova Scotia traced the photo's origins across Canada and over more than one hundred years.
