Thank you veru much for posting for all of us the content of the retreat. I am in México and this is the only way I can participate.
In spanish we have two translations for I am. One is SOY which refers to being directly and the other one is ESTOY which refers mainly to the experience. Both are translated as I am. For me it helps to have these two words, SOY for being Soy and ESTOY for the experience.

How interesting. In Hebrew there is no present tense for conjugating the verb to be. The Burning Bush doesn't say, "I am that I am.". It says, "I will be that which I will be," (in 3 words; Hebrew is economical). Just by saying "I" in Hebrew you say I am. Descartes said I think therefore I am. Hebrew says, with it's grammatical rules, I say I, therefore I am. The ordinary quote is a mistranslation.

I am watching videos with Iain McGilchrist about how the two hemispheres of our brains operate and it seems so clear that Rupert is talking about how we live our lives in the chatter of the left hemisphere of our brain while ignoring the transcendent experience offered by the right hemisphere. Becoming aware of being is to reside in the right hemisphere. Wow!

Question : Who were you before you are born?
Answer : "I am" a part-whole of the seamless One-whole formless, invisible and inconceivable Universal Nature which pervades and covers the entire Universe or Creation.
"I am" neither come nor go, neither move nor stay, neither increase nor decrease, neither live nor die - Eternal.
"I am" is self creative, organising and existing, beyond time & space, and not subject to Cause & Effect or Causality.
"I am" is what I am - is all that what it IS!
    😊🙏🙇‍♂️🌷

I don’t understand the equation of peace with happiness. I have felt peace but have never felt happiness after a meditation.
The usual representation of happiness in the world is “laughter and joy” which I find missing in my meditations.

Namaste to all! it is the divisive mechanism and means which has brought the mess and wars within us. No one can be as aware as one said 24/7 forgetting the content of our consciousness. So we r content and changing is the nature of our means given by consciousness for not dividing from anything from I am and this whole Universe. Original nature is we r the world , Universe. If one differentiate , then that is the biggest tragedy of human history. What mess we have created in the name of being aware of awareness in the world? who is responsible for my thoughts and experiences prior to this. It is permanent so called " being aware" or it is ur separated way of looking of the things in ur consciousness. One can't separate one's own contents from consciousness. If u do, then it is that separated entity starts play the game of what is happening now in our human world. Never hope that there is solution after dividing. Beware of being awareness of the mess we all have created in the name of peace and happiness permanently!!! Thank you. 🧠🧘

If everything is inside us Why do we have eyes?

    • @dayanidhi9391
      @dayanidhi9391 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

You mean the eyes of the physical body, of the sense organ of sight which exists in the subtle body and operates through the physical eyes? Either way, we have eyes in order to perceive forms, and we 'have to' perceive forms because it is our karma to experience this material world via our subtle body and physical body. Both the subtle body and physical body (with their respective sense of sight and physical eyes) are a manifestation (karmic reaction) to the karma (actions) we have performed in previous lives.

From my years of the so called 'learning, practice and cultivation, "I", siewkon sum realizes -
_There are no masters or followers;_
_No one to teach, nothing to learn;_
    _The Noble Teachings are Pathless;_
_To whom whose mind is abideless;_
    _Shall realize the Dharma suddenly;_
_Is the Open Secret of all Practices!_

As much as I appreciate the clarity Rupert conveys, why are people coming to these retreats over and over. His message is simple and clear. Go live your life and don't get addicted to all this analysis. It feels like people focus on his insight instead of following their own journey. So easy to go round and round and round.

I am….. can I ask a question, after realising, why feel the need to dye your hair and put a wig on? It’s a serious question. I notice Tolle dyes his hair too.. I would like to think realisation would allow freedom to be happy whatever one’s appearance
