Hey Ashley thanks for sharing these awesome vids about your trip to London. Really I ve enjoyed watching them. I have a question for u. I am going to visit London for the first time in the end of August 2017 and I am so excited. Can u tell me if The Oyster card or the London travelcard are the best option to save money when taking the public transport in London? Is it comp,I aged to take the underground lines in London? In your vids I saw that the stations are huge and I am afraid that I am gonna loose my way there. Please give some tips about it and really appreciate that. Thx.
+musicfan28 I can't remember exactly what we did, but I think we got Oyster cards and loaded two 7-day travel cards onto each of them. We were there 12 days but that ended up being the best thing to do. I asked for help on trip advisor about what to do (I was so confused) and a local really helped me! I suggest doing asking on TA so you can get the best advice for your trip. As far as the stations - I've done public transit in Boston, New York, Paris, South Korea and London.....and London is by far the easiest and most user-friendly! Get a tube map ahead of time so you can familiarize yourself with the different lines and when to switch - but I promise it's easier than you think! The Underground staff are all very helpful if you need assistance :)
I love your videos and your natural style, you are just the sort of visitors my country needs
Thank you so much!
Great videos. I am enjoying your vlog style and your southern accent.
+Crystal Loftis Thank you! I've lived all over and have a mix of accents - but I think the Texas/Southern comes out in my videos for some reason! :)
