umm, at 3:08 he says the blades are light enough to be picked up by two people...maybe two very strong people, typical blade on a GE 1.5MW weighs around 14,000 lbs.

A blade is about 10-20 tons. When you say two people you're talking about two people sitting in a heavy-duty Crane?

Great stuff! Nice work. The public really needs to see more of this. Have you heard anything about a new system called Optimal Future Energy Deployment (it should be on Google)? I’ve heard some interesting things about it and my brother got some amazing results. I’ve also been searching for solutions to the problem of wind turbines killing birds and bats. Ultrasonic acoustics looks like a possible answer to saving bats, but I haven’t read anything lately about the best way to keep birds away from wind turbines. Have you heard anything?
Buildings kill more birds from head on collisons than wind turbines. & That issues already been solved with shrouded wind turbines.Which also triple the amount of energy produced.

Will using renewable energy solve our problem of climate change? Reduce the need for fossil fuels? Lower electricity bills?
It will certainly help with oil use, and climate change, although it probably won't reduce your electricity bills. Let's face it. What possible harm can it do compared to the harm we are doing already.
Nope. Solar and wind energy is too diffuse to take over for an energy dense energy source like hydrocarbons. Only something more energy dense will do that. Research MSRs, specifically LFTRs. Nuclear is the only thing that can beat hydrocarbons.

but because it's non-uniformity, you can't have renewable energy replacing the whole fosil-fuel produced energy (nuclear is a solution)

There is no one answer. Thorium is an answer. As is Solar, wind, poo gas, wood waste at lumber mills, whatever UFO's use, hydro, geothermal.
Thorium is just a bad as nuclear power, expensive so not commercialy viable without subsidies, still produces radioactive waste, not powerfull enough to sustain the chain reaction so you still need plutonium to keep the process going. A lot of people believe the stories told by the nuclear power sector. No ,thorium is not the awnser for the future, at least not untill they fixed these problems.
But they don't want to hear that thorium can do it and cheaper.

A wind salesman full of wind! We have nearly 4,000 windmills in the UK, total possible output 7GW. Today output. as I write.... We have a demand of 37.01gw. (summers day, so relatively low ) wind is making 0.29GW thats that is 0.78% and it is heavily subsidised.. Fusion is the answer!

That poor comoving people need to improve basic human conditions other than light their poverty. I mean clean water, sewer system, food security and basic education, at least.
Then go do something about it then. Why don't you help some poor family get educated or help them get access to clean water other than sitting here on youtube moaning about some other guy who is actually trying to help.

I worked with homeless people for several months. I just don't have to make publicity about that. I don't need or want that attention. Did you ever thought how shame is to go on web telling people how good I am like this money searcher guy is doing? It only makes sense to people who somehow think to need inspiration.
If this video guy was a real deal, he should be doing something for his own community, rather than to show some third world poor area reality while teaching its people what they should have but don't, smashing their proud with his opulence. I mean the clothes he wears the vehicle he rides and the place he came from.
I understand that people wants to feel good, and they think they need to help really poor people around the world to feel that good. Do they want to help people or do they want people get helped? That 3rd world poor people will only be really able to grow as human beings if we leave them to help each other at an individual level. If they don't help themselves it's because some government politics are preventing that to happen not because they are inferior. Maybe we can help with that at a coletive political level.
The people who needs your help are just beside you right now. Think about it.
In order to help people you need four things:
1) you have to really want to help what the person demands
2) the person have to really want your help with that demand
3) you have to be in conditions to help with that
4) the person have to be in conditions to receive your help.
There is nothing about what you think people need. Who do you think you are pal? That understanding is the why I stopped to sistematically work with homeless people.
