    Please continue to stand in prayer. The water protectors are heroes. Any intelligent person knows the "insurgents" are the corporate bullies who are too stupid to realize they are destroying our planet. Main steam media needs to stop being bought by the bullies and give our water protectors the attention and honor they deserve.

    I had a relationship with the Delaware approximately 20 years ago and their religious leaders continually talked of visions of the 'evil black snake' that was going to intrude on Indian lands and discounted it as generally as self induced superstition. To my Delaware friends I sincerely apologize it is now obvious tat these visions were real. Best of luck and of wishes to the Lakota, heyenne, Arapaho, Comanche and any other indiginious Indians, once again, being cheated by our leaders in Washington

I'm a white woman, but I believe we are all American, and this is our home, and we all deserve to have peace liberty justice and safety, them most of all. I Stand with them and will fight with them against the evil that has penetrated our home and I hope that they can win this fight

    simple fact is most white people dont care about the pipelines, they like driving SUVs more, capitalism is the religion of greed and americans in general worship at the altar.. the amount of change is so great that these people would rather die than change their lives enough to live sustainably and in harmony with nature (if they actually thought about it, which they dont)

    Interesting. I wonder how come the same things are said decade after decade and nothing really changes? Being that I too have Native American Blood flowing thru my veins I wonder about who the Monsters really are? Hidden in the shadows while the fight is faced with those who don't know and don't care. So, what is it that is being reaped? Indeed, what is being planted before God Almighty? If you do what you always have done what is it you are hoping to gain? Using the same means you will get what you have always got and the Monsters know this! Well, I pray for blessing and a change of state of being. Amen.

    And it told me what kind of person Chair Dave Archambault is what he did to some of his own people. I hope he has a total win with the pipeline shutting down but that don't excuse him for how he did LaDonna and others. And I totally believe LaDonna that he did exactly what she said he did giving the law enforcement permission to go on HER land and then running her off of her land for however long that was. That was wrong. It was NOT his land to give permission regardless!

    I have had solar power for over two years and my income is minimal. I am a crippled person who didn't have power on grid couldn't afford the bill. For under $8000 install solar power. From October to march run generator cost $20 to 40 a month. I live in North alberta.

    The irony of supporting wind projects to somehow remove petroleum pipelines is that wind turbine blades are made of petroleum based carbon fiber reinforced polymer. So the crude that is being shipped in the pipeline you hate is refined into products that go into making the wind turbines you celebrate on your property. Polyester, vinyl, polyether ether ketone, polyurethane, polypropylene, polyacrylonitrile, and petroleum pitch are just some of the refined petrochemicals that make up the composition.

    • @jeremychase7416
      @jeremychase7416 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Paul Swanee They also use to use lead in paint and gasoline. This sounds exactly like you got it off an ExxonMobil desk. There are alternatives to nearly every petro based chemical. We still use that crap for the same reason we still used lead 50 years after it was proven to be dangerous.

    • @paulswanee5855
      @paulswanee5855 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jeremy Chase Actually no. I got it from two market research reports and a report from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. You may not be able to access all the reports without licencing agreement via third party.

    • @paulswanee5855
      @paulswanee5855 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Jeremy Chase yes there are alternatives for petrochemical polymer composites, but they cost more and do not make up the majority of the market. Can you provide information that Native Renewables is choosing non-petrochemical wind turbines- I would be very surprised if they were since they are "commercial large scale wind farms". However kudos to them if they actually choose the cleanest option.

    30:40 If you wanted something different than coal mining, why on earth did you choose solar? Don't tell me youre actually telling people solar production comes from god. You have to mine silicon and cadmium, and then chemically process them, which produces hazardous waste products of silicon tetrachloride and cadmium sulfide. Its good to see youre becoming independent, but I really worry what exactly these tribal communities are going to be doing with solar wastes.

      Paul Swanee what about The thorium Nuclear Power Plant that tricky dick killed could have powered the world safest form of nuclear power look it up it wasn't cost-effective they did a nuclear power plants they produce weapons-grade by products AJ go to sleep

    • @paulswanee5855
      @paulswanee5855 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Aj Bagniewski "tricky dick killed could have powered the world safest form of nuclear power look it up it wasn't cost-effective" I'm assuming you mean Richard Nixon "terminating" the MSRE and MSBR projects at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. This again is a misconception that Nixon ended the program because of weapons. First of all these projects were ended before he took office, and were far more affected by opinions with the AEC (Atomic Energy Commission predecessor to the NRC and DOE). Second of all there was legitament reasoning for not supporting the molten salt projects, because at the time there was far more investment and time spent on fast breeder reactors. In reality fast breeder reactors are better than what the LFTR is capable of, because in fast spectrum there is a much greater probability of fission with plutonium 239 than any other fission reaction. Greater probability of fission = greater potential and greater amount for electricity production. You have to remember this was 1972, before three mile island, or Chernobyl. There was no inherent safety concern that the nuclear industry was plagued by. The MSRE project presented a safer but less productive type of fission, and since there was no inherent safety consideration at this time, the majority of all funding went into in fast breeder reactors instead of thermal reactor projects like the MSRE.
