Awesome review. I think this new version 2 with the black deco is actually more comic accurate than the version 1 figure with dark blue. Also, on an unrelated side note, that Essentials Knight Fall Batman in your comparisons is arguably the best classic Batman figure out there. I love that figure. I have three of those myself. One final note, I have the Essentials Flash, Green Lantern, Sinestro and Aquaman and they all use the exact same body as the Batman figures. The only difference is that Aquaman has sculpted scales on his shirt.
Agreed, The specimen is more commonly accurate than the first version. The Knightfall Batman is absolutely amazing, definitely my top five Batman figures of all time. It is amazing how much reuse they got with these bodies but they all look pretty damn good.
@@dHuntersReviews Yes, it's impressive what they can accomplish with a little paint. I really liked the Essentials line. Too bad it's coming to an end.

Hi! At 5:51, when you compare the two versions of Batman Rebirth from DC Essentials, wasn't the first one supposed to be 6 inches?
There is a 6 inch one which I show later I believe
Those 2 are both 7 inch both part of this line of figures

If i was to put a cape on this guy do i need to cut the original one as if i just remove it hell have no neck piece for the cowl? Sorry if its a dumb question itll be my first attempt at a custom cape on this figure. I usually do mcfarlanes.
There’s no difference between the original one and this one they have the exact same sculpt could be done, but you have to put it on top of the neck area, it looks a lot better when you put it under the cowl piece

Yeah dc collectibles are so much better than McFarlane. I really wish they didn’t quit making these toys and like the animated series ones
They are coming back, McFarlane will be distributing some of the unreleased figures moving forward
I thought they were just releasing the inventory already made, but series 3 of DCeased is on the leaked list

He’s pretty nice, an upgrade over the original.

Love these figures but i think that the hands are a little long. Could be just me
I’ve seen lots of complaints about the lengths of their arms, but they aren’t that bad in my opinion.

I believe DC Direct Arkham City Series 4 Batman. It was a more articulated Arkham City Batman than the first release.

@@dHuntersReviews Yeah, it's no wonder that toys don't last on store shelves & pegs anymore, because people know what these go for on the aftermarket, so it's better to get them from stores while we can! (Secondary market for older toys is not fun. 😔)
Well I always get 2 of my Batman figures, one to keep unopen. I'm sure I have many gems in my unopen collection that are quite valuable now.
