    Great stuff. I agree that the unfamiliarity is probably most important for opening advantage. Although I would have struggled to convert the endgame with such similarity.

    At @ 6:00 mark when his bishop moves to b6 attacking your a5 pawn, couldn't you move your knight to b4, protecting your pawn with your a1 rook while at the same time threatening a fork of the king and rook with knight to c2 next move?
    I guess that would be moving the knight 2 or 3 times in a row though which you've advised against in the opening.

      Yes, Nb4 is possible. But afterwards it's impossible to kick the bishop from B6 away. And it's annoying.

    Why are people wasting their time study opening playing standard chess, when they can play fischer random chess?

      Because million times more people play standard chess :)
