Sulawesi : Bosom. Maluku : Neck. Papua : Head. Other small islands : Acne. Not only that, Indonesia has more than 500 volcanoes = Active, inactive and underwater. QUEEN MOTHER NATURE IN INDONESIA 10/10 (Mother Nature in Indonesia when viewed 100% is very colossal). Nature in Indonesia is really insane very different class categories, there is a saying that says : (Indonesia is the throne Queen Mother Nature). There is even a study that has visited 400 tourist attractions in Indonesia and it is only 5% for him. From Sabang Sumatera to Merauke Papua (in 1 country) is expensive and long distance. It costs the same as you flying from Egypt to Dubai or Jakarta to South Korea or Spain to Belarus. Indonesia was originally not an archipelago but a mainland called SUNDALAND (Western side of Indonesia) and SAHULLAND (Eastern side of Indonesia). However, 70% of the land was sunk into the ocean. The territory of Indonesia is 60% sea, 30% (Forests, Volcanoes, Caves, Waterfalls, Rivers, Lakes, Mountains, Forests, Deserts, Cliffs and Canyons) and 10% Man-made. The total area of Indonesia is 8.5 million km² (Including land, sea and EEZ). The coastline of Indonesia is more than 98.000 km² (The calculation of 55,000 km² is a very wrong calculation because it is not from research calculations but from ordinary people who only guess). In fact, in Indonesia, a lot tourist attractions (100% overall) is more than 4.800.000 - 6.100.000 (This is a total of the craziest nature in the world, that's why Indonesia has been named the MOST BEAUTIFUL NATURE IN THE WORLD AND ALSO THE MOST BRUTAL) Imagine how crazy nature is in Indonesia that is not Humanity can fully explain it. Imagine that from the past until now, nature in Indonesia has been studied by many countries. Therefore, Indonesia is called prehistoric land by the International. In one country, there are things that are different, varied, many strange and whatever. Indonesia is HEAVEN and HELL which collide with each other simultaneously, has 2 different sides. Traveling to Indonesia is not just about a relaxing and exciting travel experience, it is much deeper and more than that. You can even feel disappointed, emotional, confused, sad, tired, give up, smile, laugh, afraid, goosebumps, satisfied and others at the same time. The number of victims of natural disasters in Indonesia in 1 year : >(2022) is 1.4 million people. >(2021) is 8.4 million people. >(2020) is 945 people. >(2019) is 3.721 people. >(2018) is 10.32 million people. >(2017) is 52.930 people. >(2016) is 6 million people. >(2015) is 22.773 people. Total victims of natural disasters in Indonesia for 7 years = 25.200.369 (Indonesia has the title as a country that has the most brutal, cruel and deadly "Mother Nature" in the world. Nature in Indonesia is too strong because its impact takes many lives and affects many countries). Another informations : >Dutch band Within Temptation made the title song "Mother Earth" which describes nature in Indonesia. Even Sharon Den Adel, vocalist of Within Temptation, has lived in Bali Indonesia since childhood. >Groove Coverage from Germany has a song called "Indonesia" and "When Love Lives In Heaven" (These 2 songs are related). Groove Coverage is the one who sings the song "God Is a Girl" and "Moonlight Shadow" and "Little June". >Maria Amanda/Sabrina Nielsen, a Gothic Europe model (Denmark), has visited several places in Indonesia (Bali and Yogyakarta) and wrote an extraordinary assessment on Instagram. >The name Indonesia is taken from a word in Ancient Greek and is related to the history of Ancient Greek mythology. The Indonesian name is referred to as "GAIA". >Celine Dion from Canada has a song inspired by the music "Keroncong Indonesia" entitled "To Love You More" and in 2018 came to Indonesia. >A rock band called Fransoa from France made a song called "Aku Masih Lapar" in Indonesian languages, the lyrics mention the names of Indonesian food. >The European Gothic genre band Xandria from Germany made a video in Indonesia in 2015 and visited Indonesia. >And others. I highly recommend coming to Indonesia.
Oh wow, by all this description I can see that you love Indonesia with all your heart! Thank you for sharing your feelings and I hope you will get the chance to go to Indonesia not one, but a lot more times to see and explore everything you adore so much. I am wondering where you are from? Are you sure you would like to have that many volcanoes in Europe? :)
@@SeagulltheExplorer That's why the host of Geography Now Indonesia said "TOO MANY STRANGE PLACES" because there are millions of natural tourist attractions there. Too many and I've visited 51 natural attractions there and the scenery is different. Really insane.
@@АгнесияКорделияЕкатерина I get goosebumps reading your experience in Indonesia, you know nature in Indonesia very well. I thank you and what you say is true, you write from the heart and maybe the memories you experience make an impression. May I ask where did you get the subscriber even though you didn't upload any videos?
@@АгнесияКорделияЕкатерина Oh my God, it's only natural that what you say really represents your feelings when you visit Indonesia, it's very clear because you wrote it in detail. What is the impression of a unique or strange thing that you can't forget when you are in Indonesia? Because I want to know, you wrote it all like an amazing experience.
@@BigFamilyVolcanoIndonesia There are so many, but the experience I can't forget the most was when I hurt my leg from falling in a Mangrove forest in Indonesia (Kalimantan). At that time I did not see any tree trunks covered in mud. But luckily I was immediately given medical treatment to heal the wound on my leg. When exploring natural attractions in Indonesia, it is not just happiness, excitement and satisfaction. However, all the feelings involved, whether it's sad, tired, dizzy, emotional, disappointed, laughing, funny and so on become one. That's what is so amazing and has memories that make an impression on the heart. Mother Nature in Indonesia very incredible, has 2 different sides, namely very beautiful, unique, strange, diverse, amazing and hypnotizing. But at the same time it is also deadly, dangerous and scary. It's a complete package, which makes it an experience.
the food comes from Indonesia but Indonesian people who work in Malaysia make the food famous there. So Malaysians think that the food comes from their country.Even not only food, our songs and culture they think comes from their country🙃 btw. Next reaction wonderful Indonesia 2020💖🙏🏽
Regarding earthquakes, since Indonesia is very vast country, length between west and east tip is similar to west - east coast in the US, 3-4 earthquakes across nation is not that often. Myself live in Jakarta, experience earthquake (which big enough to be felt) around 3-4 times a year. However, your worries will be paid off once you visit Indonesia. Please come to Bali (beautiful beaches , breathtaking sceneries, & art center), Jakarta (for skycrappers, shopping malls, night life) and Yogyakarta (for cultural center).
In the video, he said that Indonesian national language is not indigenous to Indonesia but more Malay derived (15:33). Well, it's a fact that the Indonesian national language developed from Malay, but it's not true that Indonesia steals the language from Malaysia (25:33). Malay doesn't necessarily means Malaysia. Malay is broad term used for Southeast-Asia Islanders, especially for indigenous people in the region which is now known as part of Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. The people, the language and the dialect variations already exist long before they were colonized and become independent countries like today. Anyway, this is a nice reaction. I'm amazed that you do some research about various Indonesian language and dialects. Keep it up! 👍
Thank you for explaining! And I understand your frustration when people say Malay, it is immediately understood as Malaysia. We have the same with Belarus, everything that has "Rus" in it, is immediately connected to Russia, which so incorrect! And thank you, I am glad you like my reaction!
@@SeagulltheExplorer South thai and Philipine is Malay too but Indonesia is the largest Malay in southeast asia They forgot where Malay come from Many think that Malay is Malaysia but they don't know that the largest Malay is in Indonesia Bahasa is the root of the Malay language, why is it not called Malay ?, because Bahasa has undergone modernization and has absorbed a lot of Dutch, Portuguese, English, Arabic, Chinese and regional languages in Indonesia, Malay is only a regional language in Indonesia that is used by people Malay in Indonesia
@@realbutnothing2567 It's true that the root of Bahasa Indonesia is from Malay, it's just not from Malaysia. Bahasa Indonesia is a new language, developed from Riau Malay with so many loan words of other languages that you mentioned. Bahasa Indonesia never existed before, it was only tribal languages (including Malay and its varieties) in the old days. Then there was Sumpah Pemuda, a pledge that declares the use of one language Bahasa Indonesia. Since then, the language evolve overtimes until today that makes Bahasa Indonesia quite different from the original Riau Malay. This is also happens to Filipino, which is derived from Tagalog with loanwords from Spanish and English that makes it become a bit different from the original Tagalog.

4 earthquakes per day? Mostly we didn't feel it. Because below 3 SR. And the distance between each earthquake is thousand miles apart or different island.
It's calculated on average doesn't mean 4 times a day Not all places experience 4 times a day, there are even places that have not experienced an earthquake in 1 year In Jakarta area where i lived for only 2-3 years there were no earthquakes, of course if there was an earthquake it was only felt a little, not until the building collapsed, the road did not crack
The Indonesian flag has a width-to-length ratio of 2:3, while that of Monaco has a 4:5 ratio. This makes the Indonesian flag appear longer and slimmer than the Monaco flag. The flag of Monaco looks wider and closer to a square shape. And the Indonesian flag has already been used, by the Majapahit kingdom, one of the ancient kingdoms in Indonesia, the kingdom that used to rule most of Southeast Asia.
He knows a lot about Indonesia But Not all he Know. For Example he did not know about the History of Indonesia is being Helped by Russian at the Time,Russia give some a big Support to Indonesia and make Indonesia Proclamated their independence, and About Irian Barat War,Russia Help much at the time. The 1st President Ir.Soekarno was Stated Russia is the Close Friendly of Indonesia at the time. When the Time has Come Russia will War against US or Nato it must Be Indonesia Will Support Russia. We Indonesian People will never Forget about Russia and Always Support Russia and Love Russia Very Much, forever until this very momment.
That flower also grow in Malaysia, we are neighbors so many stuff that are in Indonesia are also can be found in Malaysia. So Malaysia and Indonesia is like Belarus and Russia or Ukraine, we are actually the same race but living in a different political entity because of history of colonization.
@@SeagulltheExplorer Well if you visit Aceh province you will get some small earthquake in there but not 4 times a day, it can be once a week or once a month, i think you are lucky if get that earthquake when visit Indonesia, it's rarely actually.
Europe is too small to fit in Indonesia map. 4 earthquakes per day actually for different location or island so for same area at least 4-5 month you can have one earthquake. But remember they also area which doesn't have any earthquake for many years.
It is better you come to Indonesia and then you will know about Indonesia. I suggest you to go to Bali first and see how it was, and then go to Yogyakarta and explore it. You will feel amazing about this country.
I born in Javanese family, I speak Javanese natively (the Eastern java dialect), East java near Madura island so alot of madurese people here, I grew up in a mix java-madura neighborhood, so I do speak madurese ( the funny thing is when I was a kid I speak Javanese my madurese friend fully understand it but they'll answer in madurese, which I understand and proceed to answer in Javanese again) when I'm a kid I understand little bit of Indonesian through TV and hearing adult talking, I started speak Indonesian fluently in kindergarten because it's the lingua Franca, the language of education, information etc And I learn English since elementary school
@9:51 it's not like that :) indeed there is a shaking that is felt but it's very rare mostly just a small scale and we don't feel it, so it's not like we will feel it 3x a day :)

Seperti bahasa jawa bahasa bali setiap daerah atau suku memiliki bahasa mereka sendiri... Jadi sudah wajar kalo orang Indonesia bisa berbicara dua bahasa atau lebih....

But indonesia is so large country so you will not meet many earthquakes in your city if your live in indonesia
@15:33 Ok this is incorrect. Bahasa Indonesia is based on Bahasa Melayu or Malay Language and the Malay Language is indigenous to the Riau Islands, parts of Sumatra and Kalimantan. So Bahasa Indonesia is indigenous to Indonesia. And there is high intelligibility between Bahasa Indonesia and Malay. Most Malay speakers especially those exposed to Bahasa Indonesia through drama series, movies, religious programs would not have any issue understanding Indonesian and most Indonesians would not struggle that much understanding standard Malay. I would say mutual intelligibility is close to 99 percent. Source - I'm a Malay speaker from Singapore and I can understand Indonesian almost 100 percent of the time.
@@SeagulltheExplorer You're most welcome. A lot of people think Bahasa Indonesia and Malay are two different things. They are not. Bahasa Indonesia is actually the Malay Language with Javanese words added in [ eg. kalian, bisa ], Dutch words [ e,g wortel ] and English-derived words [ eg prediksi, regulasi ]. If anyone doubt this, just compare Indonesian with the other native languages. The only native language spoken in Indonesia which share incredibly high intelligibility with Indonesian is Malay. What Bahasa Indonesia is to Malay is akin to Queen's English to Australian English. Both are English but with the Australian version containing few words unique to it. The reason Bahasa Indonesia is called Bahasa Indonesia is political. The same reasoning is behind why Javanese is not the official language of Indonesia despite it being the language of the largest ethnic community in that country. Indonesia at independence needed to have a language which will act as a unifying force. Various versions of the Malay language have been spoken throughout the archipelago for centuries such as Kupang Malay, Manado Malay, Bahasa Betawi, Alor Malay and Papua Malay. But calling the new official language as Bahasa Melayu will not do. That is how it became Bahasa Indonesia or The Language of Indonesia. And politics is also the reason why some modern Indonesians refuse to accept the fact that Bahasa Indonesia is in fact Bahasa Melayu with regional and foreign additives. But that's another story.
You are right, Indonesia is the second most linguistically diverse nation, while Papua New Guinea is the first. Unfortunately, there are no official data on how many Indonesians speak English, or I couldn't find these data.
If you go to Indonesia, I don't mind if I have to guide or accompany you to tour the islands in Java and Bali. Yep, because the first is Bali, Bali is a tourist place and Java is a very suitable place to learn about Javanese culture, especially past cultures, many temples and relics of the past that exist in Java and one more, in Java there are very many volcanoes. So if you don't mind, I'll accompany you around here. Greeting

(And the remaining 109 natural attractions I have not applied, because I am still looking for information on which tourist attractions I will visit in 2024). You can check the photos of the places I mentioned on Google, the natural attractions in Indonesia are crazy.
Did you know if we look at the map of the Indonesia territory, it's like a person / Jinn who sleeps on his back.
Sumatra : Feet.
Kalimantan : Stomach.
Jawa, Bali, Nusa Tenggara : Spine.
Nature in Indonesia is really insane very different class categories, there is a saying that says :
(Indonesia is the throne Queen Mother Nature).
The number of victims of natural disasters in Indonesia in 1 year :
>(2022) is 1.4 million people.
>(2021) is 8.4 million people.
>(2020) is 945 people.
>(2019) is 3.721 people.
>(2018) is 10.32 million people.
>(2017) is 52.930 people.
>(2016) is 6 million people.
>(2015) is 22.773 people.
Total victims of natural disasters in Indonesia for 7 years = 25.200.369
(Indonesia has the title as a country that has the most brutal, cruel and deadly "Mother Nature" in the world. Nature in Indonesia is too strong because its impact takes many lives and affects many countries).
Another informations :
>Dutch band Within Temptation made the title song "Mother Earth" which describes nature in Indonesia.
17k islands, 700 languages, Indonesia motto is very simple, unity in diversity, short but very meaningful

Yeah probably what original video meant was this. Because I heard earthquake in Japan is a lot more often than in Indonesia
@@SeagulltheExplorer
South thai and Philipine is Malay too but Indonesia is the largest Malay in southeast asia
They forgot where Malay come from
Many think that Malay is Malaysia but they don't know that the largest Malay is in Indonesia
Bahasa is the root of the Malay language, why is it not called Malay ?, because Bahasa has undergone modernization and has absorbed a lot of Dutch, Portuguese, English, Arabic, Chinese and regional languages in Indonesia, Malay is only a regional language in Indonesia that is used by people Malay in Indonesia

Our sultan strong🏋️♂️😊👍
I think Indonesia is one of the countries with the oldest and most unique civilization, salute Indonesia, a great nation

4 earthquakes per day?
Mostly we didn't feel it. Because below 3 SR. And the distance between each earthquake is thousand miles apart or different island.
Thank you for telling me that! Now I am not that afraid to go to Indonesia when I have the chance.
It's calculated on average doesn't mean 4 times a day
Not all places experience 4 times a day, there are even places that have not experienced an earthquake in 1 year
In Jakarta area where i lived for only 2-3 years there were no earthquakes, of course if there was an earthquake it was only felt a little, not until the building collapsed, the road did not crack

Thanks for the info! Maybe I shouldn't have said that the flags are exactly the same, but they do have the same pattern.

Indeed!
Thank you for the explanation! It is always great to have someone actually speaking the language talk about the intelligibilty of the languages.
Great additions. How many know English? Papua New Guinea is supposed to have the most languages of any country.
You are right, Indonesia is the second most linguistically diverse nation, while Papua New Guinea is the first. Unfortunately, there are no official data on how many Indonesians speak English, or I couldn't find these data.
