It seems as if there may be a new alliance forming between two TNA superstars. In Rob Conway’s last match, he was defeated by Von Van Cise. After the match ended, Van Cise alongside his teammate Theo Van Alge, began to carry out yet another chair attack on their opponent. Conway lay helpless in the center of the ring until Johnny Magnum returned out of nowhere, running down to the ring to save him.
Magnum had been out of action for the last 2 weeks after he himself was subject to an attack by Absolution. The attack, however, was not enough to keep him sidelined. He returned covered in tape to aid the rib injuries he sustained, and foiled the devious plans of the infamous faction.
Magnum and Conway have known each other for quite some time going back to their days in NWP, where they weren’t necessarily allies. However, in the big pond of TNA, it is crucial to have someone looking out for you as you never know when things can go wrong.
TNA GM Paul Marshall says they will get an opportunity to test their cohesiveness as a tag team against Power N Glory next week on TNA before ultimately facing Absolution in an Extreme Rules match @ Against All Odds.
