Hmmm let me guess. So there's is channel called Gareeb Scientist. A person who really does something in order to educate people about science. Recently professor Dave explains debunked Deepak Chopra in the exact same way. But he actually has recorded hundreds of lectures on organic chemistry. Talk about original content. Now I know youll say that you are helping people getting out of pseudoscience. Listen man, yesterday Netflix released a traile rabout life in IIT. people in india dont give a fuck about science. I mean just look at it, no one understands this shit. Instead you should focus on actually making people visualise science. Ironically coaching mafia teachers are probably the best science teachers in the country. I mean the youth of this country just blabbers out science in everything, whereas they themselves were fucked up in their 11th and 12th grade science. Poor dumbshits.

They haven't learnt it, they just memorised those for exams.

I don't agree with the dimension argument here ( rest all i do)
Dimension word is just used as a suggestion of a certain idea, not to be taken literally
'vairagya' - which means detachment is a major part of many spiritual practices (especially hindu ones, don't know about the others)
In order to detach, one has to shape their mindset
And this means detachment from every thing, including mind, body, thoughts and emotions
'nirvana shatakam' can explain this detachment
So it's a philosophical way, not really 'material scientific' way or something

This is my conviction that 99% of youth in India are average thinkers, if they are at all, no matter whether they are IIT(ians), IIM(ians) or whatever. They are psychologically second hand people (no critical thinking of their own, they normally get settled in whatever they have learnt from books or tradition) in making their understanding about the things around them. They can't be made think logically and rationally especially in the sphere of their religion and so called traditions.

Today these IITians are leading the tech and web 3.0 and creating a new startup culture . You seem to have graduated from a 3rd grade college because IIT is not a cup of tea, a lot of critical thinking goes in cracking such kind of exams.
@@gen-z-box3331 No. Straight up no. Cracking competitive exams in India doesn't require critical thinking skills. It only requires good problem solving ability and SOME logical thinking.
You seem to not understand the meaning of "critical" thinking itself. Critical thinking refers to the questioning of a certain data or beliefs. No amount of solving MCQs can improve one's critical thinking. It may improve problem solving abilities in that sphere, but not critical thinking.
Critical thinking is improved by asking questions. A lot of questions. Basically, it's the process of not allowing your brain to accept any new information as true before checking if it seems logically correct. And the last time I looked at IIT aspirants studying Chemistry, I didn't see anything like that in them. It looks like the teacher pours a heap of formulae & "tricks" in front of them and they memorize them to "crack" the exam.
Also, don't discriminate people on the basis of their college/university. One's educational institution cannot determine one's intelligence.
Please understand what you're trying to say yourself before saying it.

I have studied Quantum Mechanics as a part of my Engineering physics curriculum. You can't even imagine really what those operators are doing? It's really fascinating to use the word Quantum, Energy, matter, but in reality you wouldn't have understood a single equation. Let me know how many people actually studied Quantum Mechanics in their Graduation or post graduation.

I know why energy momentum Hermitian position are used because i have a degree in Laser physics which deals with quantum physics. But some bullshiter use this terms to explain their religion and when i ask how they cross questions me that i m anti religion 😂😂

I am a medical student but i understand this subject because i am preparing for msc biophysics and the subjects in this field are electrodynamics,optics, quantum mechanics etc... And also the entrance level exam comprises of bsc syllabus...
Yes electrical equipment advancement is only possible because of quantum mechanics but engineers don't use quantum mechanics in jobs.... This is only when they are involved in some research sector.. you have a bsc degree in physics, right?

I am a class 12 student and here’s my shot at explaining what plank’s constant means better than Mr.Hegde at 5:44 LoL
Max Plank while analysing the black body radiation spectrum tried to come up with a mathematical formulation of the graph for various temperatures and wavelengths. If energy was indeed continuously distributed to all possible degrees of freedom, it would mean infinite energy could be packed into a system.
To avoid these senseless infinities, Plank only allowed CHUNKS of energy to be transferred and absorbed by matter. He “quantised” energy by introducing the “Plank’s constant”. This was supposed to be a mathematical trick and Plank expected the constant to disappear in the final equation. But it didn’t. The final equation PERFECTLY described the black body spectrum and we thus concluded that energy must indeed be “quantised”.
This has nothing to do with energy and matter interconverting into one another 1044 times in a second lmao

I just tried to go over the historical context surrounding why Plank actually had the initial motivation to come up with the simple equation. The thing is we should look at the date, when Feynman said that quotation. It is true that we do not understand quantum mechanics at a deep level. But we do understand quantum mechanics fairly well from the surface. If you are familiar with Kinetic Theory and thermodynamics let me make an analogy. Thermodynamics is the subject that deals with the flow of heat. It is a vague definition but it would suffice for my analogy. So Thermodynamics had this enormous success in predicting the flow of heat, it had laws that were ironclad, like the1) law of Conservation of Energy 2) Entropy 3) you can never reach absolute 0. Thermodynamics had very well established and empirically evident theoretical frameworks, which worked beautifully. It had relationships between different State functions and so on. But we did not know what gave rise to these phenomenon we observed in thermodynamics. Why heat always preferred to flow from hot to cold bodies, or why are the relationship between the State functions the way they are. All these questions were answered by Kinetic Theory and Statistical Mechanics. The idea that matter is made up of tiny hard balls that are in a state of perpetual motion was so elegant that it revolutionised Physics forever. We understood how the macroscopic laws of thermodynamics came to being and so much more.
The problem with Quantum Mechanics is something similar. We understand it very well, it is like Thermodynamics at this point, and we need a statistical Mechanics.
As Physicist Sean Carroll likes to call, we are extremely smart teenagers who knows alot about how to use a smart phone but know nothing about the transistors and circuitry that make it work.
So thing is we understand how quantum mechanics works, but what we don't understand is that what makes it work.
Anyways my point of all this is that anyone who uses the word Quantum out of context is using their word Salad, and trying to sell you woo woo. I don't know if you are a marvel fan, but if you see the marvel Ant man series you will see that whenever they want to use some Scientific jargon, they use the word Quantum 😂😂.
Reading david Griffith or any other book on quantum mechanics required rigorous background in mathematics, it is not cup of tea of people who believe in these kind of nonsense, yes at that time ancient india was usa of world like invention of zero , hindu numerical, pythagoras( budhiyana ) theorem, sushustra plastic surgery but discovering some geometry theorem and arthematic is different from discovering quantum physics and terms like spin , work , superposition, tunneling, entangled have very different meaning what we usually thought about them, you should have mathematical background for understanding these terms

My earliest memory of Schrodinger's equation was early on in my eleventh standard. My chemistry teacher writes down the equation and we are taking notes. At this point we didn't have a clue about calculus and even less about partial derivatives. I ask him (the afore mentioned chemistry teacher) if we get problems on this in the exam. Something snapped in his brain and he went on a rant on how futile my existence is and what wonders lay beyond which I'll never perceive. I'll never forget my confusion.
You aren't alone same happened to me to he could simply say we don't know enough maths till your standard .Weird thing is that when I was in 9th I asked my maths teacher to show us a proof of heron's formula he went on a whole rant and make me take out our sllaybus and show that proof wasn't there to teach in sllaybus

Great video, I suggest you to make more videos like these because if you debunk people related to a certain politics then many people will not listen to you but if you do this, people will be less reluctant to change their minds. Many people use ViBrAtIonS as they are some sort of waves which transmit emotions. I would have liked this even more if you also explained the actual meaning of those words ( at least the ones that can be explained to general people)
