have put myself on a book-buying ban until I've worked through some books on my physical TBR, so thanks for letting me live vicariously through you! xx
Not related to books at all, but if you ever see this comment, I must say to you that I started watching your channel a few days ago and my cat loves to watch with me. It came to a point that he comes across the room when he hears your voice and sit to watch with me.
📚at the B&N sale I got: We Spread by Iain Reid The Weight of Blood by Tiffany D. Jackson Family of Liars by E. Lockhart (signed) I’m the Girl by Courtney Summers The Agathas by Kathleen Glasgow & Liz Lawson Lawless Spaces by Corey Ann Haydu Anatomy by Dana Schwartz Summer’s Edge by Dana Mele Not part of the sale but I also picked up some mangas Blood on the tracks vol. 1, 1&2 the complete collection of Orange, 4,5&6 of the black edition of Death Note
I sent The Spoon River Anthology and some book tags with a card. Each poem is an epitaph from the tombstones of the townspeople and as you read them you learn all the tea! It's fun and easy to read a few at a time, perfect for annotating once you start to make connections. Enjoy! 📚
I don't make content but Lessons in Chemistry made my best of the year list! Elizabeth Zott is one of my new favorite characters, highly recommend. Didn't go to the sale, one of the perks of Horror rarely being in hardbacks plus the roads were way too icy to travel. Have fun reading! 📚
Hey Katie, great video, also it looks like maybe the Themis Files books are getting new covers, which is probably why they’re so expensive in hardback/hard to find. I am also a diabetic and occasionally (like once every 3-5 years) I get things that look and feel like hives all over my body. It really sucks ass but I just try to deal the best I can, Aveeno makes an oatmeal bath that helps some. 📚
I must have a sixth sense for Katie Colson videos cuz hers are the only ones I watch in less than 24 hours since she posts it and I don't even have notifications on. Also, can we (or just I) get a video of audiobook recommendations?
My husband and I watch You on Netflix over and over, we cannot wait for the new season. It's such a great series. I have been wanting to pick up the book as well, I think it will be interesting to read Joe's point of view.
THE MISTLETOE MOTIVE!!! I read it in December 2021 as an ebook before it was set to be published physically, so after I read it I literally dmed the author on Instagram begging for her to publish it physically 😅 and then I got it for Christmas this year 🥰 the T1D representation was so beautiful. I cried and I felt so seen!
I just bought a manga called 'Is Love the Answer' by Uta Isaki. It's about a girl discovering her asexuality and aromatic identities. Isaki's manga often centers on asexuality, so maybe you'd enjoy their work.
I went to 2 different stores just in the last week since the 2nd one was bigger and had the books that I was looking for in the first one. I also got berserk and Tokyo revengers (after watching the 1st episode and loved it) now I wanna go back and get full metal alchemist and Vinland saga. I also picked up a curious beginning and a bunch of new fantasy series.
I went to the sale - 3 different barnes!! And i bought 18 books😮😮🤗🤗 but now im going back to buy the first 2 volumes of blood on the tracks since u mentioned that series again!!😂😂
I'm so mad at myself for not thinking about grabbing the freaking Fullmetal Alchemist editions! I already own 1-6 and have been waiting for what feels like years for them to go on sale. 📚
📚📚📚 I love that you love manga! You are my manga hero! I got into manga completely because of you … You are an INFLUENCER girl! 😂 I’m currently reading Spy Family and LOVING it! Thank you for what you do! You’re AMAZING!
📚 at BN Sale I got We spread in hard back, then all paperback 🙃magnolia Parks, we’ll traveled by jen deluca, the wedding crasher by Mia Sosa and dream on by Angie hockman.
📚 Great video! Thank you for sharing what you found at the Barns and Nobel sale. Sadly, I did not make it to the sale. Do they have any other sales like that throughout the year?
📚perfectly reasonable!! 📚 we do not have a B&N here in Austria. you did good! also i am confident you gonna read them all im 5months (at least the manga will fly by)
Katie, I have the red and white cover of You. I just went to grab it so I could send it to you, but it's an old library copy so it's been stamped in making it significantly less desirable.
📚📚 I definitely went to the sale but unfortunately none of the manga I wanted was in stock. Boo. Really want to get my hands on those versions of Fullmetal and the Girl from the Other Side. I did get a signed copy of The Bullet that Missed though and a few other things so happy about that! I just read Lessons in Chemistry and I'm not normally a historical fiction person but it was SO GOOD. Women empowerment all the way. There are some triggers though so be aware of that.
Actuallyyyy .. they have done the first book in a series and not the second!!! Arsenic and adobo!!! I actually emailed them about a week ago and I asked why we didn’t get a continuation of the series 😢
Hey, this has nothing to do with books, although I love book hauls, but I've never seen a person on the internet with an insulin pump, this just made me weirdly happy😅
📚I didn't make it to the barnes & noble sale this year, but I did order Within These Wicked Walls from their online sale. I've been telling my fiance that we need to prepare because I already know where we're going next December 26th lol.
📚I was about to buy the 1st 8 volumes of Spy X Family but purchased a 10' Kindle Fire for $90 instead so I could read manga on a bigger screen instead of my phone. Wise choice or wasn't it??? 🤔😂
📚 I recently read lessons in chemistry and loved it. Not so sure you would? But I do think you'll at least have an appreciation for Elizabeth Zott. So I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for your review...
I think what I've heard of Lessons in Chemistry is that it's a really shallow, 2D white feminism where the MC has modern values but is placed in the like 50s or whatever to give more opportunities for cartoonish misogyny for her to butt up against and be able to soapbox/virtue signal. Didn't read it personally, but given the Book of the Month books I _have_ read? Makes perfect sense to me. That seems very much their vibe. (The Book Eaters, The Change, The Lost Apothecary, etc)
Yeah Empire of the vampire is super terrible - there's so much sexism, pedophilia and problematic stuff in there. That aside, it's also super unoriginal/derivative. I think you'll hate it. 🤔 😬
Katie, your chaotic energy is literally lighting up my life
have put myself on a book-buying ban until I've worked through some books on my physical TBR, so thanks for letting me live vicariously through you! xx
I may have got you to get more Berserk, but you’re literally making me want to get every Fullmetal Alchemist hardback 📚
On a side note - that necklace with moons and stars is amazing!
Wrong Place Wrong Time sounds amazing! And I love your synopsis of LEGENDBORN! 😂
I usually speed up videos to 1.25 but I'm always at .75 with you, the chaotic energy is unmatched
This is the energy I needed today. Thank you for your service!
Best Bloodmarked synopsis. Lol I adore your energy girl !!!! 😂😂😂
I just finished Wrong Place Wrong Time and it was so freaking good! It is my first 5 star of the year 📚
Your description of legendborn was perfect 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 😂
Not related to books at all, but if you ever see this comment, I must say to you that I started watching your channel a few days ago and my cat loves to watch with me. It came to a point that he comes across the room when he hears your voice and sit to watch with me.
“I’m literally out of breath. I need to make a margarita” 💀💀💀📚
Wrong place wrong time is such a different book. Really enjoyed it
I just finished Lessons In Chemistry and loved it.
Okay good. I haven’t heard many people talk about it. But now there’s been like 3 people say they loved it. That’s a great up vote of confidence
I loved it too!!
Okie here we go.... got my Master TBR list notebook and pen in hand 📝
Lessons in chemistry was my favorite book of 2022!!!
📚at the B&N sale I got:
We Spread by Iain Reid
The Weight of Blood by Tiffany D. Jackson
Family of Liars by E. Lockhart (signed)
I’m the Girl by Courtney Summers
The Agathas by Kathleen Glasgow & Liz Lawson
Lawless Spaces by Corey Ann Haydu
Anatomy by Dana Schwartz
Summer’s Edge by Dana Mele
Not part of the sale but I also picked up some mangas
Blood on the tracks vol. 1, 1&2 the complete collection of Orange, 4,5&6 of the black edition of Death Note
Summer’s Edge was one of my favorite books I read last year!
I sent The Spoon River Anthology and some book tags with a card. Each poem is an epitaph from the tombstones of the townspeople and as you read them you learn all the tea! It's fun and easy to read a few at a time, perfect for annotating once you start to make connections. Enjoy! 📚

YEAHHH I got ten books and a board game during the sale ... and I WORK at Barnes & Noble LMAO 📚
I just love you! Thank you for bringing sunshine into my day❤😎
I also picked up Lessons in Chemistry during the sale. 📚📚📚
📚 I always look forward to a good book hall and I definitely wrote a few down to get!

You crack me up! So energetic about your books and totally all over the place! Love it! Subscribed!
I must have a sixth sense for Katie Colson videos cuz hers are the only ones I watch in less than 24 hours since she posts it and I don't even have notifications on. Also, can we (or just I) get a video of audiobook recommendations?
I read The Mistletoe Motive recently and it was actually pretty cute!
Loving the chaotic energy 📚
Good luck with reading all the books!! There are just so many new releases in 2023 that sound great so it’ll be hard for sure 📚
Cat diary is SO GOOD
My husband and I watch You on Netflix over and over, we cannot wait for the new season. It's such a great series. I have been wanting to pick up the book as well, I think it will be interesting to read Joe's point of view.

Reading Amari right now. I'm up to chapter 14. I'm really enjoying it. 💙
Love your channel and your energy
Aw thank you so much! 😘
Diabetes rep automatically add to 🛒 even if it’s terrible 😂 I say you will have most of these read by July 📚
Thank you for the confidence!
Crossroads is amazing. I wish she'd do full length novels.
I just got a copy of Amari too, I’m so excited to pick it up!
Those Girl from the Other Side editions are GORGEOUS 😍
I went to 2 different stores just in the last week since the 2nd one was bigger and had the books that I was looking for in the first one. I also got berserk and Tokyo revengers (after watching the 1st episode and loved it) now I wanna go back and get full metal alchemist and Vinland saga. @KatieColson-- what is telegram?
I'm so mad at myself for not thinking about grabbing the freaking Fullmetal Alchemist editions! I already own 1-6 and have been waiting for what feels like years for them to go on sale. 📚
📚No spend January can't end soon enough. Time for a bookstore run!
📚📚📚 I love that you love manga! You are my manga hero! I got into manga completely because of you … You are an INFLUENCER girl! 😂 I’m currently reading Spy Family and LOVING it! Thank you for what you do! You’re AMAZING!
Oh I love that! Love that you’re getting into manga! And Spy Family!!! Yes! I love that series. Wishing the best for you
i ADORE the girl from the other side! it is so cute, i hope you enjoy! 📚
Daughter of No Worlds is my absolute favorite book ever
You’ve now made me want to read LegendBorn 🤣 first booktuber to do so!!
📚 at BN Sale I got We spread in hard back, then all paperback 🙃magnolia Parks, we’ll traveled by jen deluca, the wedding crasher by Mia Sosa and dream on by Angie hockman.
📚 I picked up nonfiction & a signed copy of Richard Osman's latest release 😀
I did not know that Waterstones bought Barnes & Noble either!
📚 Great video! Thank you for sharing what you found at the Barns and Nobel sale. Sadly, I did not make it to the sale. Do they have any other sales like that throughout the year?
Your videos are my fav
I listened to the audiobook for lessons in chemistry. It was a 5⭐️ read for me.
📚perfectly reasonable!! 📚 we do not have a B&N here in Austria. you did good! also i am confident you gonna read them all im 5months (at least the manga will fly by)
Yeah, the BN sale looked amazing BUTTTTTT I had COVID. 😭😭😭 I'm glad you made up for what I missed!!
Oh no I’m so sorry. What horrible timing
I had Covid during the sale so I didn’t get to go, and I’m still heartbroken 😢
Katie, I have the red and white cover of You. I just went to grab it so I could send it to you, but it's an old library copy so it's been stamped in making it significantly less desirable.
Just finished Kissed her once for me and LOVED it and cried like a baby! I'm reading All the dangerous things right now and enjoying it so far. 📚
Ohhhh empire of the vampire is unlike any vampire book I’ve ever read
I wanted to like ninth house so bad but i couldnt get past the first 50 pages.
Great haul! I heard great things of Agatha kristie books I gotta check out 📚☕⛄❄️
📚 I love your long videos! They are perfect to play in the background while I work to keep me entertained!
📚📚 I definitely went to the sale but unfortunately none of the manga I wanted was in stock. Boo. Really want to get my hands on those versions of Fullmetal and the Girl from the Other Side. 📚Perfect video to watch while winding down after work! :)
I wish we had sales on books in Germany :( we have a law that the publisher dictates the price of the book and no one is allowed to go under that -.-
I can’t wait for the other two killing stalking. It’s so messed up but I need it
Right?! I’m sickened by my love of it but I NEED the rest! Ha
I love your channel. I've read several of your favorites and really enjoyed them. Does your mom have a TH-cam channel too?
Have you read blood trials?
📚 I live for your videos❤️
Aw thank you, as always, Liana!! ❤️
'You' is also a Thriller Tv series. I didn't see anyone comment about it so just wanted to let you know.
Actuallyyyy .. they have done the first book in a series and not the second!!!
Arsenic and adobo!!!
I actually emailed them about a week ago and I asked why we didn’t get a continuation of the series 😢
They run around trying to get all their body parts...🤣🤣why did that crack me up!????
Try Amazon they might have the missing books?
22 books in 30 minutes is basically the Extreme American Ninja Warrior Challenge XD so proud of you 👌
Hey, this has nothing to do with books, although I love book hauls, but I've never seen a person on the internet with an insulin pump, this just made me weirdly happy😅
Oh I'm so happy! I never see them online either. I know exactly how you feel about being happy to see it.
📚 I missed the B&N sale because they didn't advertise it enough!!!
📚I didn't make it to the barnes & noble sale this year, but I did order Within These Wicked Walls from their online sale. I've been telling my fiance that we need to prepare because I already know where we're going next December 26th lol.
This was a great haul video take care
📚📚Need a Barns and noble where I live 😃
Waterstones bought out B&N? 👀
📚!!
📚I was about to buy the 1st 8 volumes of Spy X Family but purchased a 10' Kindle Fire for $90 instead so I could read manga on a bigger screen instead of my phone. Wise choice or wasn't it??? 🤔😂

I'm apparently the only one on the planet who thinks Gone to see the Riverman is trash. One 🌟 👏🗑
Oh damn. I haven’t read it yet so I don’t know if I’ll like it or not 🤷🏻♀️
