Our days should be the best of times. But it is possible that with decisions made in Moscow coupled with our determination to defend democracy, the worst of times could occur. Backed into a corner, there is the possibility that Putin could use nuclear weapons in Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania and/or Estonia, or recklessly ignite the largest nuclear reactor in Europe.
