I have the exact cameras myself. I love the the m6 too. But of course the G7 is more portable. And the M6 is really good for sit down videos. Very clear. And when combined with the sigma 16 mm the light is good, the quality is top notch.
If you're looking for a smaller vlogging camera alternative I bought Canon EOS M100 with the kit from B&H. It's a lot cheaper and not many ppl know about it. They have M200 now and usually like the EOS line for the photo quality and video since taking photography in College.
