A 2 card combo I like including in my Megatron deck is strionic resonator and Kediss, lizard familiar. Kediss says 'when your commander deals combat damage to a player, it deals that much damage to each other opponent.' The resonator taps for 2 mana to copy a triggered ability. So basically you dome a player with megatron and then deal twice as much damage to everyone else. It's great.
I read that double damage effects are a nonbo with Megatron. I think they said something like they are both replacement effects so only one happens and the double damage effect would resolve first so you don’t even get Megatrons ability so no damage would even carry over.
nah they still stack. you would put it in order of damage mod, then megatrons overkill. he might not work with other stuff that looks at overkill, because megatron checks for, and then removes, the overkill damage, converting it into an instance of player damage. (this would interfere with toralf) but things like gratuitous violence, or furnace of wrath works fine with him.
Hey man, I'm doing good, I just got sick of doing the video's. Felt like an endless treadmill, that was eating me haha. I don't know if I'll come back to doing mtg stuff to be honest, I don't really play at all anymore. I've been making some music recently, so I may end up revamping this channel into some music stuff.
