Idk why but the finger tricks can just be a little weird to use on the tornado V3. On mine, whenever I do thumb push F’ or pinch U going into R’ I always get a corner twist because the sharp corner conflicts with the inside rim of the edge piece causing it to twist. Its rly weird because the Gan 11 (closest cube I have to the V3) has the same piece shape almost but I can never replicate this corner twist issue. Must be in the mechanism. Obviously whatever works for you is fine

I normally regrip for the first move but I was nervous and didn’t regrip and then got confused and lockup
