Hello and greetings🖖😎 Let me correct your statement that Stan created a song (The Touch) for the animated film Transformers. In fact, "The Touch" was made for the 1986 film "Cobra", which Sylvester Stalone wrote and starred in. "The Touch" was rejected because the people responsible for the soundtrack to "Cobra" felt that the lyrics of the song proposed by Stan and its positive nature of the melody did not fit into this type of action movie with a story maintained in such dark climates. The rest is history... Today, the adventures of Detective Cobretti are remembered only by the most ardent fans of Sylwester Stalone and action movies of the 80s (in my opinion, it may not be a very bad or poor production, but rather a mediocre and average action movie of its time), while Transformers is today a brand recognized almost all over the world worth billions of dollars, and the reissues of the 1986 animated film "Transformers the movie" and its soundtrack (disappearing from store shelves like hotcakes) only confirm this in my opinion😁👍
If the only thing it did was give us this awesome song from Stan, I can live with that. A bit like when I first saw Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and was so disappointed (waited my whole life for a new SW film since 1977) but I later reasoned that if the only thing it did right for me was having John Williams score Dual of the Fates, that was okay. :)

Whoever wrote the description left out the song “Dare” as one of his best known hits! It was used in the same original film as “The Touch” and was the first to be played at the start when Hotrod and Danial are both introduced and begin to make their way to lookout mountain. I don’t know if the song was truly as well recognized as the other by Stan Bush if going by ratings from that time, but I feel it delivers just as strong a message as “The Touch” if not more so. “Dare to keep your dreams alive”. Just that line alone can make you want to stand up and push forward and dream ahead in a world where things seem hopeless nowadays. Children especially should listen to this song and be exposed to other positive and motivational things like this every now and then to help them develop an appreciation for the classics. We keep moving forward, but we’re steadily failing and falling into disarray and forgetting what is most important. I wish they made hard copies we could find in stores, but even Record/ CD shops lack anything by Stan Bush and now there are others with the name Bush with albums who’ve become more recognized which is disturbing. I always wished to be able to collect some physical albums because this music really has some deep meaning for me (most especially “The Touch” and “Dare”), but even trying to find soundtracks at places like Half Price Books is to difficult and I’m at a loss for words that the classic music video for “The Touch” isn’t added in with the various re-releases of the original animated film. This adds to why I feel various things have become less appreciated even if there are comments like “Who feels like they’re in 1986 all over again??!” (posted by ‘Netflix Anime’). Newer generations need to develop appreciation and older generations need a reminder, and I apologize for saying it again, of what is really important (like respecting nature, fellow people, history, etc). We’ve become divided..
