In Karbala There Is many fancy hotels The one you got Is not good because of the room but It’s good because It’s near the shrine but that still makes It bad hotel you should have asked about a better hotel and you should check the room before you take It Once I had no money and I took one of these cheap hotels room It costed me like 15$ for two days and man I woke up with the AC dropping water on me Then I said fu(k no I’m leaving and after that I always take a fancy hotel Whenever I’m In Karbala you just have to ask for the fancy ones and check the room before you pay for It
I don't mind other people drinking ut its Forbidden in our religion. I know alot of people drink but thay know it Haram and we know its Haram .but you can do as you wish because we have alot of Iraqis have different religion and beliefs. you are welcome in Iraq
I rarely drank there (instead I had a lot of tea and shisha!) but when I did I did it in my room, I would never do it in public thanks for the kind words, we felt extremely welcome in Iraq! @@nadiewn7

Lesson learned, from then on we asked to look before we paid and they were of OK standards (or, in Kurdistan, very good)
