Great thorough review. Loved the hose spraydown. Great details about the extra room in the front pocket when it's on the board so things don't fall out when you unzip. Nice.
Great review; I was thinking of getting a deck bag but I really like the pockets on this (and the ability to easily carry the bag while getting to the water). I'll be checking this bag out. Plus then I'd have room for my calculator! :o)
Yes and yes! IMO the deck bag is great for longer paddle trips with close and accessible launches like a dock vs a hike into the forest. It's key to have easy access to whats inside but the deck bag bottle holders aren't great for large water bottles as you saw in the video! 😆 Bringing your calculator is important! lol
I'm looking for a paddle board carry bag the folds into a small form so i can take with me when remote paddle boarding. I hate leaving my bag on shore when I go out.
Good question! But that’s a hard one to answer without knowing what type of paddling you’re doing and what you’re putting in the bag. If you have a dock or an easy way to launch then the deck bag is more convenient to access. I love using my deck bag for longer paddle and putting a cooler bag with drinks and food in it for a picnic. The backpack is the best when I’m hiking to a launch spot or traveling as it has multiple uses. Does this help?
@@PaddleAdventurer I’d be using it for day paddles mostly, the majority of our spots to paddle are pretty easy access and not requiring a long hike in. The deck bag sounds like the better match, wanting something for holding some smaller things and my lunch bag for my paddle munchies. Thank you for the great content!
Agreed! Deck bag will work well for you! It’s the best for quick and easy access to things on the water. Especially snacks! 😄 Thanks for reaching out and for the kind comment! Glad to hear the video was helpful! Happy adventuring! 🤙🏽
Great question! I find the main compartment for both of them equally waterproof if they are sealed properly. However, I haven’t fully submerged either of them.
It’s a beauty bag! The straps are good for getting wet but I wouldn’t be loading the bag heavily and going for a long hike with it. Especially not with bare shoulders.
The bag was gifted but I was not paid. This is a look at the bag and an overview of it from my perspective. I hope you find the video you are looking for. Happy adventuring 🤙🏽

Thanks! Glad you found it helpful. I'm mostly thrilled it fits my big water bottle!
Looks like a great waterproof bag! I want one!
Right? It’s my new fav. Game changer having a waterproof backpack. Especially for walking to the paddle launch point with all your gear!

Awesome bag! I have seen this one in action and it’s really nice!!
Thanks! I’m super happy with it. Especially the multiple uses for adventuring/travel. Not just for paddleboarding.

I totally understand! The only one I'm aware about is the @RedPaddleCo transformer bag. red-equipment.ca/pages/atb-transformer-bag-new-for-2022
@@PaddleAdventurer thanks. I'll check ur link
Do you prefer the backpack or the deck bag for day to day use?

Isn't the deck bag more waterproof compering to backpack, from your experience? Cheers.

outer zip pocket is shower proof. For 100% waterproofing, use main inside compartment.
Would you be able to store it under an airplane seat?
Yes! I’ve travelled on airplanes with it before 👌🏽✈️
calculator LOL
lol its the first thing I thought of seeing the inside organizer! 😆
Looks great, but damn those straps are thinnn

Just a PAID advertisment.
