    Hi, my name is Chris. I've been in love with acoustic guitars my whole life. About a year ago, I bought one. The very beginning was difficult, but can I tell you that I came across this lesson and just went running to my guitar. Its been 8hours, i repeated the lesson. And I am truly thankful, as I see progress and confidence blooming.
    Thank you so much, I look forward to learning even more from your teachings.
    All the way from South Africa.
    May God bless you✨

    Appreciate your contribution to passing along your expertise and knowledge.
    How many lessons are contained in each book and is there a corresponding video for each one?
    Was there a reason for not including a table of contents?

    • @guitar-academy
      @guitar-academy  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can download the books for free or just look through the playlists and get the answer to you first question. The answer to the second question is YES, it's a guitar course and has been developed that way so I don't encourage people to jump about and just learn what they want. Hopefully that helps you 😊

    These courses are amazing! The only thing I can't find, or maybe missed on your channel, is how to properly use the picking hand. I had played around with finger style before I found this course but realized I've probably been doing it wrong. After watching some other TH-cam videos on how to properly use the picking hand I've started your course over again as it's by far the best I've been able to find!

    • @guitar-academy
      @guitar-academy  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm a little confused . . this course is just about the picking hand. Are you asking about using a pick or plectrum ?

    • @tju6052
      @tju6052 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry didn’t get a notification you replied. I meant how to hold my picking hand most efficiently as I had to readjust how I hold my thumb and fingers which took a little while to get comfortable with. You may have explained that somewhere and I just missed it.

    Hello, I am learning according to your course, I also bought materials to support you :). But I have one question that I have been thinking about. I understand the marking of the fingers in the order in which they should be placed on the strings. Thumb P plays thick strings. Index finger I plays the G string, middle finger M plays the B string, and ring finger A plays the thin E string. Is it correct if I learn this way? In your introductory video, the P thumb plays the thick string, but the I index finger plays the B string. Is there a difference in playing later when learning, or does it not matter?
    Thank you and I want to thank you for your courses. They are the best on the internet :) Milos

    • @guitar-academy
      @guitar-academy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question . . . As you the lessons become more advanced and the tunes become more complicated, these rules become less and less important. Eventually you might have to play virtually and string with any finger. I hope this helps 😊😃

    Excellent lessons for the beginners! I just started and hope to keep progressing on the successions to the next level as I become efficient in the lessons. Might take a few months to be good at fingerpicking styles. I have a question: What do the numbers in the fret represent like 2 and 3 in Exercises 4 and 5? My gratitude for providing tutorials in such a good design; it's a treasure trove for students like me. Thank you so much!
