Just use an Allen key in the wheels will come right off then you can just change the bearings as like a normal skateboard

holy shit bro you are a legend even the ripstik team has not done anything like this. also the bearings are easy to swap out just gotta use allen wrenches to loosen the bolts and pop out the wheels and then bearings with a skate truck or screw driver and pop the new ones in

Thanks man yeah we only had one allen wrench so bolts were just spinning haha def need to throw some in so I can clear that gap!

Skating Beaver I think the wheels are the problem... I've messed with an old ripstick before putting some bones reds in the wheels and it wasn't much faster... then I sanded both sides evenly off some 55mm force wheels making them skinny enough to fit and it was too fast lol... it doesn't take much to make skateboard wheels fit but u can use some speed skate (fruit boot) wheels probly be even quicker

no its not the wheels at all its the abec 5 bearings that it comes stock with from wal mart. A pair of bones reds will make the board so much faster than how it runs stock I know from personal experience.

Hmm either u lie or we have different ripsticks... Which I wouldn't b surprised if mine was a crappier version cuz when I tried it was like the original ripstick and it didn't matter what bearings I used it wasn't much of a difference... The wheels just felt so squishy... Then using skateboard wheels made it super fast even with stock ripstick bearings...

I.C. karting oh true you may have just had an old shit ripstik cause the ones I was using were ones you can only get online like the riptik air pro and the ripsurf. Change the abec 5s in those to reds and you will be flying just as fast as skateboards
