But from 0:55 to 1:15 i think is the most impressive thing I've ever seen done on the kit. 1:42 is flippin rediculous as well. How can the evolution of metal drumming go further? Certainly this is the pinnacle.

The fact he didn't use triggers and every note still sounds so concise and distinct. No muddy kick or anything like that, and they didn't even quanitize it. It just shows what an absolute machine he is.
You remember groups of hits, it's like I stead of remembering every letter in a paragraph, you remember every word, those groups of letters... It's like that in music, you remember groups of notes or phrases, then you remember what phrase goes after...
