Gotcha. Thank you. I've had a long standing theory that people who watched it air and people who streamed it have different "cringe" tolerance. You've destroyed my hypothesis lol. @@marioibarra7886
The fact still remains that Michael made those kid's lives better. More graduated and become more educated than they otherwise wouldve been. yea, it sucks he didnt make the money he thought he would to pay for the schooling, but those kids are on a better path than if they had never met Mr. Scott
@@Thee_Deputy True but it's still pretty screwed up to get these kids' hopes up for college tuition for TEN YEARS. I'm surprised he didn't get his ass kicked.
@@YT_AKai_ This ! Yes, the outcome all in all was good, but in the moment (and this is what people remember) he could have slapped every single one of them in the face and it would have had less of an impact.
Dwight wouldn't be trying that if Jim didn't prank him. It's said multiple times in the show that Jim just decided to start fucking with him the first time they ever met on Jim's first day. And realistically, Jim would've been fired dozens of times already for even the minor pranks, because it's an office.
The difference is Dwight never succeeds. No one takes his attempts to get Jim fired seriously and when they do, it fizzles. Meanwhile Jim successfully and constantly harasses Dwight and admits he does it to get him back for being annoying.
@@wallasboyd I can't think of a time he ever tried to get the "whole office" fired. The whole office would've been fired during his doomsday plan much later in the show, but that was their fault.
Yea,I was waiting on this episode. For every mistake Michael made, for every insult or bad decisions he made that he possibly escaped without any consequences for,i feel like this episode was the Roosters coming home Michael Scott. And as painful as it to watch,Michael totally deserved this happening to him.
Ten years prior , when michael was even more delusional than he is in season 6, to his mind, his impending & eventual fame in the world of comedy was a assured, & it was just a matter of time...to him, ten years prior, it would've been wrong to *not* offer those kids tuition, maybe even cruel....when he was a household name & alongside his heroes robin williams & steve martin at the hollywood gala & at award shows, those kids would all be successes & it would be because of his generosity, hed not just be a star, but a philanthropist....but, hes an idiot, so, he failed...but after this episode, hes a little less of an idiot because if the ordeal, & a tiny bit more grounded, its part of micheal's character arc, this episode had to happen, somehow we always knew it would happen because when we heard it from stanley, when he read the news clipping, & gave us the expository information on the situation, while cringey, it made perfect sense, it couldn't have been any other way, because, "scott's tots" is the michael scott-iest thing micheal ever, ever , did.
It is great to see micheal have to fianlly face his idiocy tho....also, he really did care about them, he remembered all their names for F's sake...part of that was his gift for sales, where hes good at being personable with many people over time, but still, he remembered all their names, idk.
this is one of my favorite episodes lol it was so hard to watch, and I still struggle watching it lol I can feel the cringe through the screen I died at " ...wait... they're lithium!" hahahhaah
Let’s be honest, we watch the office for the cringe and humor and this is top tier cringe and humor! This one is hilariously painful to watch Michael sit through their presentation knowing he’s about to ruin their day. I think Dinner Party is even more uncomfortable to watch than this one, I don’t know why so many people say they can’t watch Scott’s Tots 😂
To me, those other episodes are easier to watch because they have more entertaining plot points. Dinner Party is quotable and entertaining, even while being more cringey than this episode.
This episode is not nearly the cringiest (basketball episode in season 1 takes the cake for me), but because of Scott's Tots being the main plot point for the episode, it makes it mediocre, and that's why it's not very replayable. The secondary points make it a setup episode for a payoff later.
Saw this pop up in my feed and thought “oh my god it’s here”
Same here. I saw the title “Scott’s Tots” and I thought ‘OH NO… I need to watch this right quick.’
Haha
3:18 "Glad these kids getting an education, cause musically it's quite a bit to be desired" was legitimately hilarious
HOLD ON THEY’RE LITHIUM
I love Stanley's reaction to this, he's waiting for this day lol
This and pretzel day.
The most generous empty promise. 🤣
suffering through this is a rite of passage for the office fans
That's what she said
This was in fact NOT your “favorite 20 minutes of the week” thanks to Michael’s generosity.
🎵 HEY, MR. SCOTT! WATCHA GONNA DO??🎵
🎵WATCHA GONNA DO? MAKE OUR DREAMS COME TRUE!!🎵
Has it been 10 years already??
It took me years to rewatch this episode. Now I can watch it with ease 😂
Did you watch this show when it aired, or did you watch it on like Netflix or something? I'm genuinely curious.
@@chand911 I started watching during season 4.

Been waiting the whole day for this to drop 😂
The worst thing Michael's ever done.
He motivated kids to graduate. Its definitely not the worst thing he's done.
This is actually a braindead take. He had good intentions and genuinely was the reason those kids graduated.

The kids (actually close to 30 year-olds at this point) dancing in the front are the guys from You Got Served lol
“You know what’s better than tuition…?”
This episode physically hurt to watch the first time!
Some of Jim's pranks go over the line, but Dwight has repeatedly tried to get him fired. So it evens out.

Michael's WORST episode. I can barely watch it. Cringe upon cringe upon cringe
Ah, you've reached what many consider to be the worst episode of this show.
Worst episode as in most cringe or worst episode as in most disliked. Because season 9 with new characters were way more painful for me to watch.
the most cringe, not the worst, season 8 and 9 is there
Dwight is the only good part of this episode. This is a horrible episode.
