The AI has two components, the Alien has a learning AI, every time it sees you, it learns something about you. When it finds you in a hiding place, it starts regular checking those places. The second component is called the director, when you get close to an objective, it alerts the xenomorph to check the objective. If you manage to completely elude the Alien and it goes to a different part of the ship to search for you, the director will say, "hey, buddy, have you checked over here?" And it will send it to your general location. The difficulty settings increase the alien's cone of vision and hearing. The greater the difficulty, the wider the cone of vision. You get a motion detector, there is a bar on it that points you in the immediate direction you need to go to get to your objective. Also, all enemies can hear the beeping of the motion detector and triangulate your position. Use it as little as possible.
This was such a cool way to bring back the let’s play streams! I like these streams cuz I can stream you on my 55 inch tv and watch the gameplay big screen instead of needing it to watch a movie. I’m glad to know if any of my tips were appreciated, I usually like to just watch people game rather than play myself lol I was never good at shooter action games either. The game I f’ed with was guitar hero lol But I love the more cinematic games or the games based on movies. I wish we could’ve tried out the Friday the 13th or TCM games but alien will suffice lol can’t wait for part 2!
You're just around the corner from your first encounter with the xenomorph. You're going to be coming into the transit hub shortly. There's a save there. In the transit hub, turn left, go to the end, up some stairs and turn right at the top, then another right and down the stairs. At the bottom, there's a body to loot and a door to open with the maintenance jack. Then go to the end of that long room, and toward the end at the back of a column, is the save point. Shortly after that, you'll come into a large room and up some steps. A woman will spot you and shoot at you. Just back down the steps and you won't get hit. She pisses off to find her friends, five of them, I think. You'll go straight ahead, there's an enclosure, loot everything in it, activate the recorder, you have time to do all this, don't worry. Then proceed straight ahead and you'll grab an item by the elevator. It's missing a data cell, which you will find and then you'll have to return to this exact elevator to hack it with the tool you have acquired. Now, you'll need stealth to avoid the humans. Facing the elevator where you just grabbed the tool, turn around and crouch walk up the stairs to your right. Turn left ar the top of the stairs, go to the end. Up a small set of stairs and to a room to your left. Stay to your left, crouching close to the furniture, someone will come into the room and keep walking through the room. Go through the entrance they came through, down a small set of stairs, turn right and you'll be heading to a door at the end and down a couple of flights of stairs. Once you are down the stairs, the humans will not follow you. You are free to take your time and explore the entire area. There are two schematics down there, a pistol, and a data cell. Now, here's the fun part. Once you do a thing, you'll have tripped a lock down. Don't panic, you're still not yet in danger. You'll see columns, one will have a green button, just about anything green can be interacted with- lockers, cabinets, robots, big green buttons, etc. Hit the button, the column moves, hit a few more, and behind one of them, you see the data cell. You can now have the doors you need to have by matching up the shapes in a mini game. There are 3-4 mini games for hacking. One is matching shapes, another is matching numbers, one is hitting the timed button prompts, and there might be one more. You hack one door to get out of the room, then follow your map to the room where you end the lock down. From there, you go back up the three flights of steps, through the door, and take the same path you used to go from the elevator to get back to it. At the elevator, do your hack thing, get into the elevator and you're at comms control. This is one section from the medical wards, arguably one of the most terrifying and tough sections of the game, the medical wards and San Cristobal medical facility. This section makes or breaks players.
Another thing about the game, it's semi linear in that you have to keep moving forward, there isn't a lot of backtracking. When you go into a vent, keep moving forward until you can't, look left and right for a light at the end, go that direction. You don't need to waste batteries or flares in vents, just look for a light source and move toward it.
In the section you are in now, with Axel, you're going to crouch toward the end of the room, staying to the right. There's a room to your left with a generator. Activate the generator, go into the floor vent to your right, and at the exit, pause about five seconds after the dialogue is over, exit the vent and you'll see Axel to your right, sneaking down a corridor. Follow him. You'll have to do a thing, then another thing, then you'll have to call up a transit car, crouch and patiently wait, not moving, while you wait for the tramcar. As you're getting in the tramcar, keep moving and do a 360 for an Easter egg most people miss and activate the tramcar. This takes you to the transit hub and a save point. Don't panic when you see the Easter egg, you're safe, just hit the prompt for the tramcar and you're gone. Protip, while you're waiting for the tramcar, just sit still, keeping an eye out for the arrival of the tramcar.
Everything through comms control is tutorial. You learn to interact with the environment, deal with all the enemies, craft, etc. After comms control, the real game begins and it's all bets off. The last few missions may seem tedious, because you're just trying to escape and you need to activate and fix things. It's still tense and terrifying.

In the game you can play a xenomorph, predator or Marine. I still have not finished the game. As the predator I was killed right away. The Marine is jumped by a facehugger. I can't get the xenomorph out of the first room. I can only imagine Alien isolation game. Have fun with the game. Good luck. 🛸👽❤️
