Alba in the footprints of Gerry Mulligan, she has developed into a truly marvellous baritone., full of sensitivity. I feel honoured and privileged to have had the opportunity to follow these wonderful kids of the SAJB on TH-cam right through their formative years and watch them grow into such brilliant jazz musicians.

Bellísima interpretación de un bellísimo tema. Alba cada vez más segura y celestial con cualquier tipo de de saxos, esta vez con en barítono, que son palabras mayores (espero verla algún día con el saxo bajo), se ha convertido en una figura internacional por derecho propio. Joan haciendo de su pareja, recodándonos que ese fue su instrumento original antes de pasarse al contrabajo. Marc, como siempre, pura sensibilidad en los solos. Arnau y Giusepe irreprochables en el acompañamiento.

Wonderful stuff. Two bari. saxophones. It really has a very special sound, does the baratone saxophone and two of them together in the hands of capable players. Loverly stuff.

Un merveilleux quartet pour accompagner Alba dans cette balade dont Ela Fitzgerald nous avait offert des versions de rêve il y a plus d’un demi-siècle ! Eh bien Alba peut être fière, son interprétation est magnifique et le baryton lui donne un cachet superbe. C’est juste beau, merci !
Dos saxos barítonos en un quinteto, muy rara vez se ve eso. Pero al maestro Chamorro le encanta experimentar y no deja pasar ninguna ocasión. Y siempre le sale bien, al condenado ... 😂
Alba y el maestro demuestran su enorme talento y técnica. Su diálogo es fantástico. Alba está señalada por los dioses y ha encontrado en el barítono su paraíso particular. Chamorro, aparte de su maravillosa faceta pedagógica, es un veterano todo terreno, zorro viejo curtido en mil batallas, multinstrumentista que toca todo lo que se le ponga delante (hasta de batería le he visto, en un video de hace muchos años).
El acompañamiento roza la perfección, con unos solos de Campissi y Martín que no desmerecen en absoluto a los saxos.
