Rome has spoken. Even the virgin, regardless if it is true or not, wants us to be obedient to Rome. If it's really from God it can defend itself and overcome the test of time.

@@gerryaquino548 Recall the Divine Mercy devotion: it was banned due to a faulty translation of Saint Faustina's Polish diary, and lifted only in 1978 after a better translation helped secure its approval. All seers of apparitions were obedient to their bishops and Rome, keeping silent until they were allowed to speak. Hindi sila nagmatigas.

The Church does not discourage a local Marian devotion even while declaring there is no authentication to the claimed miracles. There is no issue about that. The real issue is discontent on the part of some Lipa locals (in this video) about the Church's ruling. They have to respect and understand the Church's due caution in declaring something as supernatural. The Church is guided by the Holy Spirit, and as such we ought be docile to her as sons and daughters.

This is not a question about a decree of the Church look what happened to the Devotion of the Devine Mercy? some of church leaders prohibited the message and devotion but in the end God’s plan always reveal in its perfect time.
Even the Sto. Niño was never recognized by the Church for a long time but the Fiilipinos believed in the child Jesus is represented by the Sto. Niño. And miracles were experienced and prayers were answered. The Church did not give attention to these. But the Filipinos continued to pray to Hom. It was just recently that Vatican recognized the Sto. Niño.
Correct, yet many obediently did not propagate the devotion until the ban was lifted in 1978. Only in the 1980s did it come to the Philippines and become embedded in the Church. The question is not the negative decision can be overturned, as that is always possible; the issue is the disobedience of people still insisting on it and ignoring the possible spiritual harm belief in unapproved visions causes.

The phenomenon of statues weeping tears of blood, oil, or scented liquids has been reported across various religions. However, given the relative ease with which such weeping statues can be fabricated through trickery or manipulation, one must question the likelihood of any divine being choosing to manifest miracles in such an easily fabricated way.

Mama Mary is real so even if not approve by the Vatican as long as you're paying respect to Mary it is fine imo. i do believe in Mary Mediatrix of All Grace though because when my father had a miraculous healing it is the statue of Mary Mediatrix where me and my sister would offer flowers. we always bring flowers to her. i would pick a flower on the side of the road just so i have something to give her. i also believe Sister Yerising but if the Vatican says there's none then maybe there's no such miraculous apparition. i assume they conduct extensive investigation before reaching such conclusion.

Maaaring isa itong Myrrh, kung babalikan natin yung pagkasilang ni Jesus, maalala natin na isa sa mga regalo ng tatlong hari ay Myrrh, isang embalming oil. One theory (I am neither for nor against Medjugorje) is that only the early apparitions and messages were authentic. The rest until today are not.
Private revelations or apparitions are not dogmatic-- meaning to say, hindi infallible ang Simbahan sa pagdedeclare kung totoo o hindi. Even the Vatican was wrong when they judged the Divine Mercy as a false apparition before 1970s. I was 5 years old when I first came to Lipa at nandun ako during the day in 1991 when the image of the Mediatrix was first exposed after the 1951 Ban. I stand with the Vatican..Pinagaaralan nila ito ng matagal. Also, what happened to the visionary. She was not like Bernadette who remained a nun until death, or other visionaries like Catherine Laboure. The so-called visionary left the convent. This is just my opinion.

It was with great sacrifice that they and their successors did these. Many became saints and martyrs. But there were some who disobeyed. One of His own Apostles, Judas Iscariot, betrayed Him. Is it not possible that others may do the same? We all have free will. Throughout history, many heretics happened to be priests and monks.
Spain was like a fountain of saints and martyrs with all the missionaries it sent throughout the world. When they convert other nations, they had to establish governments based on Catholic morals. Sadly, with the onslaught of religious liberalism sweeping Europe, Spain itself succumbed to secularism. Our so-called "heroes" brought the spirit of the French revolution home when they went to Europe for their studies.
Were we forced to become Catholic? When Magellan arrived in Limasawa, he was welcomed by the locals. He did not go looking for a fight or killing the natives. He did not go there to conquer.
