In Boston, in 1989, their backing tape broke. The only one who was actually singing was Keren. It was hilarious! Sara and Jacquie just kept moving their mouths.
Oh, I DO love this!!! Keren and Sarah are all: 'Right - Let's bash this out, lip-synch-a-rama, collect a cheque for 12,000.00 pounds (of which 108 pounds would be paid to "Employed-by-the-hour" Jacqui), and then off to get pissed at the after-party. God, I wish I was a Banana!!!! RESPECT!
Errr ... where? I just watched this really closely and I don't see her mess up once (although they are all fairly unstructured during the instrumental middle-8). If you're talking about the hand-raising bit, she's meant to match Keren on the other side -- Sara in the middle is 'up' when they're 'down' -- obviously intentionally. So ... why you gotta hate on Jacquie? :-)
Jacquie O'Sullivan a class act who brought a new energy and a brilliant voice to the group. Shame she was always treated so poorly by people. Easily the best of the 4 girls.
Wonderful Royal Variety Performance - 30 years later and I still remember it so well. Great line up!
Love this miss Jacquie , not the same without her after all these years.
I had this recorded on video and used to watch it’s all the time as a kid 😂
Bananarama and Queen Mum, you live long enough you see everething :) How sweet, thanks for the nice video!
Bananarama and Rick Astley....the eighties were in full swing.Music dominated everywhere...theres bloody a-ha in there somewhere

it´s because keren has the most powerful voice
Yeah Keren can actually kinda sing! On their reunion tour she was belting em out just fine, and in tune even
Was it on a tour or on a TV performance?
bananarama forever
Jacqui brought a bit of class to two undisciplined, naughty girls! (Until her partying went mental!) But I do LOVE the Banana's!!!
Simon Davey Not the Bananas?

Yes Richard! Stand up for Jacquie!
Wait- wasn't there a Siobhan in there somewhere? I must have lost track when I graduated that year.
princess margaret always looks so bored and high and mighty, I LOVE her
She gave zero fucks - fabulous!
Pascoe Braun Bored, yes. Uncomfortable, surely. High and mighty. Really? LOVE her. Yes.
Jaqcuieの動きが少しぎこちないのは加入して間もない頃なのかな?
“Nathan Jones”って“I want you back”の次の曲だからだろうか。

In our everybody’s famous world, who cares? Unless it’s Ronnie & Cie or the Golden Girls?
where?
who cares about the hand-movements lols
Mimed, of course... can these women actually sing live? The original version by The Supremes was certainly much better
it was such a shame really as I have always had a crush on one of them.
OH PLEASE. Leave it to Mary, Cindy and Jean only
No one outside of the US knows this as a Supremes song. It's a Bananarama classic.
DistantCousin that’s ignorant yanks for you
Nobody even remembered this as a Supremes song because it was in a line up and time when they were no longer relevant and their career dead.
Awful! Terrible cover of The Supremes
