This tune always reminds me of my friend Daniel Hearne, Brilliant Father loving husband and a great friend, unfortunately he passed away in May last year because of covid at 39 years of age . We used to listen to this and the red Jerry mix when cycling too the beach with the stereo sticky tapped to the handlebars of the bike 🚲 LoL 😂, And we would all dance and have a party on the beach ( alcohol was thrown in and dubbies) But would cycle home again with this and 90’s dance tunes blasting away, just in time before our parents cracked up . R.I.P Danny we will always have these memories
Love this song ever since I bought the CD in Our Price on the first week of release, used to blast it out big time. Ashamed to say at 49 years old, it still brings tears to my eyes. Almost feel I want this playing at my funeral lol.

Going through the dozen versions of forever young songs and this is one of my top three favorites. I like the Laura Branigan version where she modified it to her liking and its my top favorite. I barely remembered this one back in the late 1980's to early 1990's when I heard it in the dance clubs in San Diego and San Francisco bay area when I was dancing to this song in my early 30's as a young sailor. Then from 2023 onward when I accidently downloaded the Laura Branigan version I got fascinated when there were many versions of it and I imagained the word "forever young" is what fascinated people worldwide.
This song has had a special place in my heart since March 1st 1997 (although it could have been February 28 1998 - it's a long time ago!!). My partner and I were standing in a huge crowd on Elizabeth Street in Sydney watching the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. There must have been a delay towards the front of the parade because this one float was stopped directly in front of us for about 45 minutes and they had one song on repeat - the techno-house version of Forever Young by Interactive. It wasn't for many, many years, until I heard the original version by Alphaville - that I realised exactly that - it was a cover!!!...............but, maybe because of what it meant to me, standing in that crowd, watching an amazing spectacle (sad to say the only time I have ever watched it live - although I always watch the telecast on SBS), I still always preferred this version.
"This is the official TH-cam Channel of the german techno project INTERACTIVE" Nice, I'll use this then to thank you mr Lissat and Zenker for this fantastic song (every you made btw) that I played over and over and over and over... a million times! Forever Young!
The feeling is hard to describe indeed. The cold war just ended, there was peace and an incredible euphoria. And the soundtrack was Techno and Eurodance. ❤👍💪☮️
Enjoy while it lasts kid. I was just like you listening to the original version of this back in the very early nineties. Now I'm old and wish that I could have it all back.
Snowwie88 your not the only one bud. Always gives me a tear or two.. especialy when you realise the original was all about the twats in power during the 80s and nuclear bombs.....
