As an industry veteran, my advice to any fresher joining the industry is : please aim to quit your salaries by 40 . By 40 you must be capable of starting something on your own , get regular income from it & grow with it. Otherwise, you will be in trouble.
But why quit salaries by 40, By 40 we would be in senior top positions in MAANG/FAANG type job with 1-2crore+ ctc with 70-80 lpa base salary so we would be rich by 40 and above and there would be less pressure and more money by 40 because by that age we would be top senior position level

1cr is nothing.. u need 4cr + to live lavish.. even a fkn 2bhk apt or 1 acre farm land near Mysore road going 2 cr... cost of living.. health-insurance.. vehicle.. children education.. etc..
