I got Frenetic Delicieuse (per your recommendation) and it IS lovely! On me it leans more fresh than gourmand though. And it reminds me of Guerlain Shalimar (but without the old lady vibes)! It's sophisticated and grown and beautiful and I could go on and on! LOL!

I can also tell you that if you adore Guava I just don’t see how you would not Love this fragrance…. I have and enjoy many of your favorites, and a few were purchased based on your recommendation.❤ I have recently returned to Frenetic Delicieuse and I am enjoying it much more than at first spray - initially the powderiness was overwhelming all of the other notes. I also find overly powdery fragrances somewhat irritating to my nose, so I was really happy that after letting it macerate the powderiness has been toned down which lets all of the other notes shine through. Now I'm really loving it! I don't have Eternal Meadows yet, so I am considering getting that one! I always look forward to your Middle Eastern Thursday videos! ❤

Yes, I have Flor Oud and I do really enjoy it! On first spray I could only smell the floral notes, and now after a couple of weeks more of the fruity notes are coming forward, which I am very happy about. I hope it will continue to develop and become more complex. 😀 I am definitely looking forward to your review of Creation de Reve, since I don't have that one! ❤@@ArahiWorld

I really enjoyed your video. Baroque satin oud is my favourite and most complimented perfume. I’ve ordered Swiss Arabian Rose 01 for a spring/ summer rose option. Shaghaf oud tonka is gorgeous, I had it on today. I own Ajayrb Dubai portrait and love it on its own or layered with Montaigne coco (coco vanille/ holidays clone).

I got the Bidun Esam and wore it today. Initially my daughter said I smell like an old lady and a man! LOL. As it began to dry down during the day it started to smell much better. I reapplied it again 7 hours later and asked her what she thought about it, she said "this one is much better". I told her it was the same one! It must''ve been the first few sprays, it smelled different once I got past the 5th spray. It's gorgeous! This will be an evening fragrance for me or special events and will work in the summer time. I just got Majd al Sultan and it is what I was hoping Encre Noire al Extreme would be. It’s profound yet immediately accessible and not overpowering: the perfect winter fragrance. Incense and smoke and balsamic pine notes. Truly gorgeous straight out of the box. Oh I love it, just love it. It’s winter in Australia and this one will be getting a lot of wear. Thank you so much for your recommendation. I’m looking forward to experiencing Araak and Bidun Esam, both in the mail. A special thank you for addressing Ahmed Al Maghribi. They are criminally underrated as a brand and I am hoping your attention to them will boost their reputation. There is another TH-cam reviewer who speaks of Al Maghribi but she does not have the succinctness and grasp on how to convey the essence of a fragrance that I’ve come to love from your reviews and her reviews are long. I find myself finishing her reviews thinking… ‘yeah, that’s all great - but what does it actually smell like?’

I'll be Rocking Orientica Arte Bellissima Exotica and Melodie de Orientica. Supremacy Tapis by Afnan, L' Intrude Maison Alhambra, Rasasi Arba Wardat EDP and Cpo, Ebhar, Soryani and on and on... I have around 450 Middle Eastern frags and oils ttl. Many of the ones you mentioned are also in my collection. I wear them and love them all! 💕

Hi Yalonda! Hope you had a great weekend! I would recommend that you take your Taskeen Marina outside of your home in an open air space and spray it at least 5 full times! Then put it in a non light exposed shelf inside your home for 2 weeks. At the end of those 2 weeks I want you to not overspray when trying it so basically only do your wrists, pulse points and one behind your neck not behind your ears. And see if you still get a headache! There are other fragrances that I can recommend but since you already spent on this one I would like to help you make it work. But let me know if you still want me to recommend another. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I got Flor Oud and Forbidden Sugar today, I fully expected to love Flor Oud but it did not impress me nearly as much as Forbidden Sugar, absolutely love.

Idk if it’s a dupe or an original, but omg it’s regal! It lowkey reminds me of Cavort by Fragrance du Bois (minus the sharp yellow florals) with some facets of Boadicea’s Blue Sapphire … perfectly unisex

I made sure to not include any fragrances that are still going through my test process.... and musk fragrances are at the top of the list as I am working on a video where I talk about musk fragrances exclusively! I’ve been binging your videos and like everyone else, I’ve found you very well-spoken and all of your reviews are very detailed and incredibly honest, which is pretty rare these days. So, thank you so much Arahi! One thing I wanted to bring to your attention is that the word Oriental is a racially offensive word to us in the region. Orientalism as a whole is very degrading, fetishizing, othering, and has very ugly colonial roots. You’ll even notice the vocabulary automatically and unintentionally used to describe it is fetishizing and othering, like “exotic”, or like the infamous TikToker who described Hareem Al Sultan as “a woman with her t**ties out being fed grapes”. Thankfully, a lot of fragrance houses (Ormonde Jayne, Frederic Malle, Kilian, Le Labo, etc.) have started to catch up since 2021 and have banned and replaced the O word with terms like “Amberesque”. Just thought I’d throw this here because you really strike me as a cultured woman who might appreciate this, and the audience here is just lovely.

As I expected, such an elegant cultured woman ♥️♥️♥️ I believe that currently only Ormonde Jayne are using “Amberesque” (I could be wrong), but it’s not a recognizable term to most people yet. Others have started to just use descriptors that are specific for each fragrance (i.e, amber spicy, woody ambery, deep oud, etc.) so that’s another good option that won’t be entirely foreign or confusing to your audience ♥️

I got Frenetic Delicieuse (per your recommendation) and it IS lovely! On me it leans more fresh than gourmand though. And it reminds me of Guerlain Shalimar (but without the old lady vibes)! It's sophisticated and grown and beautiful and I could go on and on! LOL!

I can also tell you that if you adore Guava I just don’t see how you would not Love this fragrance…. Definitely loved seeing your favorites in all these great categories! I have and enjoy many of your favorites, and a few were purchased based on your recommendation.❤ I have recently returned to Frenetic Delicieuse and I am enjoying it much more than at first spray - initially the powderiness was overwhelming all of the other notes. I also find overly powdery fragrances somewhat irritating to my nose, so I was really happy that after letting it macerate the powderiness has been toned down which lets all of the other notes shine through. Now I'm really loving it! I don't have Eternal Meadows yet, so I am considering getting that one! I always look forward to your Middle Eastern Thursday videos! ❤

Yes, I have Flor Oud and I do really enjoy it! On first spray I could only smell the floral notes, and now after a couple of weeks more of the fruity notes are coming forward, which I am very happy about. I hope it will continue to develop and become more complex. 😀 I am definitely looking forward to your review of Creation de Reve, since I don't have that one! ❤@@ArahiWorld

I got the Bidun Esam and wore it today. Initially my daughter said I smell like an old lady and a man! LOL. As it began to dry down during the day it started to smell much better. I reapplied it again 7 hours later and asked her what she thought about it, she said "this one is much better". I told her it was the same one! It must''ve been the first few sprays, it smelled different once I got past the 5th spray. It's gorgeous! This will be an evening fragrance for me or special events and will work in the summer time. I just got Majd al Sultan and it is what I was hoping Encre Noire al Extreme would be.
It’s profound yet immediately accessible and not overpowering: the perfect winter fragrance. Incense and smoke and balsamic pine notes. Truly gorgeous straight out of the box. Oh I love it, just love it. It’s winter in Australia and this one will be getting a lot of wear. Thank you so much for your recommendation.

A special thank you for addressing Ahmed Al Maghribi. They are criminally underrated as a brand and I am hoping your attention to them will boost their reputation. There is another TH-cam reviewer who speaks of Al Maghribi but she does not have the succinctness and grasp on how to convey the essence of a fragrance that I’ve come to love from your reviews and her reviews are long. I find myself finishing her reviews thinking… ‘yeah, that’s all great - but what does it actually smell like?’

I still love it but am on the lookout for something new to be a signature scent. Do you know a dupe for Ambre Nuit by Dior? I have a sample & I love it but the price is too high for me & the longevity is bad on that for my skin too.

Hi Yalonda! Hope you had a great weekend! I would recommend that you take your Taskeen Marina outside of your home in an open air space and spray it at least 5 full times! Then put it in a non light exposed shelf inside your home for 2 weeks. At the end of those 2 weeks I want you to not overspray when trying it so basically only do your wrists, pulse points and one behind your neck not behind your ears. And see if you still get a headache! There are other fragrances that I can recommend but since you already spent on this one I would like to help you make it work. But let me know if you still want me to recommend another. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I got Flor Oud and Forbidden Sugar today, I fully expected to love Flor Oud but it did not impress me nearly as much as Forbidden Sugar, absolutely love.

One thing I wanted to bring to your attention is that the word Oriental is a racially offensive word to us in the region. Orientalism as a whole is very degrading, fetishizing, othering, and has very ugly colonial roots. You’ll even notice the vocabulary automatically and unintentionally used to describe it is fetishizing and othering, like “exotic”, or like the infamous TikToker who described Hareem Al Sultan as “a woman with her t**ties out being fed grapes”. Thankfully, a lot of fragrance houses (Ormonde Jayne, Frederic Malle, Kilian, Le Labo, etc.) have started to catch up since 2021 and have banned and replaced the O word with terms like “Amberesque”.
Just thought I’d throw this here because you really strike me as a cultured woman who might appreciate this, and the audience here is just lovely.

I believe that currently only Ormonde Jayne are using “Amberesque” (I could be wrong), but it’s not a recognizable term to most people yet. Others have started to just use descriptors that are specific for each fragrance (i.e, amber spicy, woody ambery, deep oud, etc.) so that’s another good option that won’t be entirely foreign or confusing to your audience ♥️
