Beautiful car. I had a '70 Cutlass with the 455 engine. Bought it in 1983 from the original owner for $800 with no damage or rust. Sure wish I still had it. 8 mpg in the city and 13 mpg on the highway. Would pass everything but the gas station.
The sweet "tingy" sound of dual Flowmasters and a mild cam.
I prefer Cherry Bomb Glass Packs or Thrush. Fits the Era also.
Straight chuggin
Your reviews are alway"s the best! What a beautiful driver.Oldsmobile to me was alway"s the "Gentlemans Hotrod".They started it all in 1949 with the "303".Yea,64 years old, disabled but still love my rides!I would by a car from you without even leaving NJ because onceI I see it(if its a ride I want)I"m buying it and I"ll deal with the problems.NOT,the mentality to have when you buy a vehicle.
Motor. Sounds. Real. Good 10:31
I would prefer it without the spoiler. Awesome machine.
A tight little cutlass with fortitude nice little cruiser well worth the money beautiful choice.
I'm a Ford guy but I've always liked the cutlass and that ones a freaking BEAST!
Nick, that's the beauty of old cars. They're, different! When, I drive an old car, I want it to feel like, an old car!
Wow!!! What a car. Love these old cutlasses. I've owned 4.
I am loving that Cutlass looks and sounds like it's saying you see it.
I knew this wasn't gonna last long on that lot... this is car is beautiful inside and out.
I almost bought a 69 Cutlass Supreme years ago, but the owner had no title and said it used to belong to his drceased dad. The car had sat for maybe 7 years or so, but it still ran well. One thing about Cutlass Supremes, they last forever whether it is a 69 model or newer. Those cars were well made, and the 69 has a timeless Classic look!
A '70 442 hood on a '69 Cutlass looks really nice as does the wing. Beautiful ride, sounds great. Brings back lots of memories.
It is a 68. The 69 did not have the vent windows.
@@johnharris8191Nope, it's got 69 taillights and a locking steering column.
@@joefell7845 You are correct but that is the only 69 l have ever seen with vent windows. I thought 68 was the last year for those.
@@johnharris8191 Yeah it's all good , had a 68 and I remember liking the taillights better than the 69's. Also had a 68 Chevelle with no locking column and a friend had a 69 with a locking column. Can't remember on my Cutlass but I think GM went locking column across the board in 69 ? ✌️
@@joefell7845 Not sure about the locking column but l have searched far and wide and that's the only 69 l have seen with vent windows. Everything l've read says Olds discontinued them in 69. Also read 68 and 69 doors cannot be swapped. I had a droptop 69 442 and it didn't have them. My cousin had a hardtop 69 442 and it didn't have them either. What do you think?
Nice ride would be nice with a 455 but a good solid Oldsmobile 350 not to bad either 👍 Nick sweet ride.
What a very nice kept 69 Olds Cutlass. And I love all the gear heads comments here as well. For they see a good thing here like I do. Good call brothers, love you all. Old Master Gunnery SGT USMC.
Thank you
I've had three 442s, 68 400 4 speed, 72 455 automatic, and a 73 455 4 speed, I loved all 3 of them. This is a sweet car also. The 68 was super fast.
Oh Nick I love that Cutlass especially the engine bay it's so much room I bet changing spark plugs are super easy 😅
That is a great automobile easy to work on you can do everything you're self 👍
Love the fact that it is a four speed 😊
Very nice car ! Nick, you should add it to your collection
I have a 69 i bought and built 3-4 years ago. Put the 70 hood and tail on it, switched to buckets and made it a floor shifter with the center console. I absolutely love it....this on is very nice also. Great video, im sure someone will love this car when they buy it.
Nice, love the tire and wheel combo!!!! 😍👍
I love this one! Best looking car on the lot. I wish I had the funds, it would be in my garage.
The '68 - '72 Cutlass S models had such beautiful curves. Would love this one but with a 5-speed transmission and maybe bigger gears in the pumpkin.
I fell in love with this car🔥
❤ that ghost driving is the wildest thing I've ever seen.
That is one Sharp & solid cutlass 👍 👍 👍 👍
The first car I ever bought was a 1969 Olds 442 (legit). I love these cars.
great idle sound 🔥🇺🇲
I heard ticking and knocking
Hello from Northern Ireland. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2024!
Sounds like it has a little cam in it . The third member may have had some new gears put in is why the speedo seems off .
Would look better without tbe wing and factory rims imo .
Still worth drooling over .
She's a beauty.
Now put some trumpet tips on the exhaust and you'll have a great clone for a real 4-4-2. 4-speed, 4 barrel, dual exhaust baby! Sharp cutlass and it sounds strong!
I’ve got a 68 Cutlass Convertible that has a few more paint and body related flaws but it has that 350 Rocket. You are right Nick, so many people love it. Even more than the Camaro and Firebird I had years ago. Lots of thumbs up. Plus it’s just fun to drive. Just a cruiser not a bruiser.
What all upgrades did you do to the engine to give it a little more power?
@@jacemiller3097 not too much really. Just a mild cam, Edelbrock carb and headers.
It's not having a horn is part of the go fast package along with the power steering and power brakes.
100% head turner in a world of EVs, hybrids and econoboxes🥰
I actually love this car just that I would love to travel with it and 55 or 60 is not enough, would change gear ratio and 5 speed trans
I’m in love. Total car family here. Uncle bought a 68 442 new I was 9 loved it. Classy ride. His brother gtos my dad mustangs his brother mercurys other nova I ended up with the Camaros though
I love this Car dealership.. I might need to make an extra stop at this car lot while on my vacation flying from California..!!
We’d love for you to stop by!
Damn....gone in 68 minutes 😎💥
Damn those early 70’s Cutlass’s were so sharp, and those AR wheels make anything they are on look good. Nice car, I wish I had the $ for a nice toy like that. And it’s a 4 speed ! Sweet ! All it needs is a 3:73 or a 3:55 rear end.
😍🤯🖤! What a Beauty!!! Wish I had 30k laying around, I would be catching a ride up to Maple to get the keys!
Clutch letting go at the top means worn out or if lucky an adjustment. The car looks great. I would always expect to do a little to a 55 year old car.
That car sounds REALLY GOOD!!!
Damn Nick if I was you this would go into my private collection
Cool car for sure, but around 14.05 sound like it has a knock
? It does have roller rockers
Nice one that's a dandy driver one right there ! I love the looks n stance on this , I wish it had the 455 rocket motor m power steering its hard for me not to buy this one for sure !
Beautiful car, needs a little electrical work on the lights besides that it's nice
This car and the Black 71 Chevelle are badass
Love it when you ghost ride them at the beginning 👍🇺🇸
As soon as you cranked that Rocket 350.....WOW. That BEAST sounds MEAN. Gorgeous car. Thats only in the first 6 mins. Adding to it, I wouldnt think would be too difficult. Father had a '75 Cutlass Sienna 442 and I truly miss that car. Called it the "Skunk" for the centerline rally stripes. Sad to say this one is as beautiful if not more so for the gentle curves to the body line....With the exception to the horn and MAYBE a couple of "cancer" spots...this car is CLEAN!!....(just first 6 mins mind you)
it's not a "442" but at this point....i think I would make a "Cross-Roads Demon Deal" for this sweet beast (if you know you know). At < 14 mins.. I'm as SOLD camper. Would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to own this masterpiece. Whomever built/restored her deserves MUCH credit!!
AAAND at 14 mins.....cig and cold shower needed!....DONE!...this one won't last long at all!! Absolutely Gorgeous car.
Love the car I would love to see your cars through a normal lens.
It is on standard , no filters here
Great cars!! Love the Cutlass, and miss Oldsmobile... 👍😎
I thought it needs a 455 when first saw it but the 350 runs strong..
I have 3 brothers who own 1957 Chevy Belair cars completely redone absolutely beautiful
I have a soft spot for these cars, since I owned a 68 442. It was fast!
My pick of the week. I had 3, 69' Cutlass's. 2 four door and one two door. Wish I'd kept the 2 door.
Definitely sounds like a nice cam main street car all the way friday nights
Surprisingly clean underneath
Pretty ballsy for an intro Nick.. What a awesome car!
Olds 442 the Cadillac of muscle cars and were beautiful @ comfortable goin down the road
Hey Nick the headlight on the driver side and the turn signal both was out when you pulled up there to go across the underground camera that picks up the bottom of the car
69 Cutlass S with a 70 Hood, car was originally an F-85 /only F-85's had the vent windows in 69 and as well there is NO Center Upper Dash Vent Plug that ALL Cutlass's had), 70 steering wheel (69 was 3 spoke) and a 442 rear bumper with the cut outs but missing the trumpet tips, radiator support to receive that hood is from a 70 as well
Life long friend has true 69 442 that has wing vent windows sedan style doors like this one . Built in Canada!! I believe that's a 71 steering wheel !!!
Just noticed you have a trumpet tip bumper...need to add the trumpet tips to it.
OMG! That's Gorgeous! I'm an Olds guy!
More gear is the poor mans power adder. Going from 2.56's in a 80 Firebird to 4.10 was insane but absolutely killed the drivability.
My first car was a 69 Olds.. that is one fine ride u got
Great ride 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Ah, I like this one. Looks like something out of Mad Max - potent.
That's a beautiful car 😍
I had one like that. 2 speed jetaway though. God I miss that car.
❤Go Maple Motors 🇧🇷🇺🇸
Wow, don't see too many manual Cutlass.
beautiful lookin car...sounds great too
that is a nice car, I had one a lot like it but mine was green and in nice shape.
Beautiful Olds!
Very beautiful car thanks Nick have a very nice day mate
Thanks, you too!
Love it 🖤--------------------------------🏁
Spirit of don williams drivning around in this, cool car 🤟 thanks Nick stay cool great video 📹
More to come! Thanks
Beautiful Cutlass i think i'd get a painless wiring harness
and redo the electrical noticed the lights were out in the back
and 1/2 working on front a lil precaution is a good thing for a 54
yr old classic.
Cool ride, I noticed that too. Needs 442 trumpet tips!!
Oh no Nick got a Ticket 😮😅
It's a nice ride but I didn't see any brake lighs on nick ❤
This was my favorite from the lot walk video.
One Cool Machine👍🏻
Great car!!
Very nice old classic GM product. Though I think I could do without the spoiler. It sorta "spoils" it.
❤️ the cutless
Sweet olds I got a 68 olds hurst white black stripes
That's one sweet ride!
love it
69 Abody Cutlass triple black & stick what a classic muscle car my favorite era next too 73-77
Sounds great 👍
Central California watching
Classic.
Oh Boy! I'm over here drooling. Question... Do you sell the cars 100% AS IS or will you get the lights sorted before sale. It looks like out of all the lights, the only ones working are the passengers side low beam and parking light.
Yes they are as is thats why we make the videos , thanks
Awesome car ! 😎👍
good price what a ragtop would bring?
Man, that car sounds good
If it had anything but an olds motor in it I'd have passed out. Yes you can drop an LS in one but these never had Chevy motors and to see one without its original or another olds motor to some is heartbreaking.
Would ya be interested in trading a 2017 hemi5.7 R/T Challenger? Just want my old olds back...
PS i would ad powerstering and powerrbrakes and discbrakes in the front, and this baby would be superb
Really nice.
