Natalie, Thank you for the encouragement to be “content with such things as ye have” (Hebrews 13:5)! Your channel is such an encouragement and a delight to watch. Thank you for sharing. GOD bless!
I love your outlook on Christmas shopping. I believe we sometimes get caught up with purchasing stuff and forget what is really important: welcoming Jesus and family. Thanks for your amazing videos.
It is so encouraging when you mention to stick within your budget. It is so important and I love how you word it. Thanks for getting me in the Christmas spirit! 😃🎄🎄
Love everything you got! It makes it so much more fun when your shopping with the ones you love! I know that’s my favorite part of Christmas shopping. My mom and my aunt and daughter and I every year go Christmas decor shopping together and this video got me so excited! I always love your videos your such a blessing!
Couldn't agree more! I loved reusing our family's Christmas decor each year. I looked forward to taking out certain pieces each year and putting them on the mantle. The only things we bought each year were new ornaments for my brother and I. My mom let us pick out one special one (usually on a trip) and that also felt wonderful.
Natalie your channel brings me so much joy. Baby girl and I are sick and your channel really makes us feel a little bit better today. Thank you for being authentic and for your beautiful spirit ❤
I don't usually like holiday decor shopping videos, but this was so fun! I was having a bad day and watching something so simple and fun was refreshing. Thank you for that ❤
I'm so excited to decorate for Christmas!! Canadians are supposed to wait until after Nov. 11 out of respect to those who serve and have served (remembrance day). So I'm excited for November 12 😁 when I can start the Christmas music and decorating!
I'm very appreciative of your stance on decor shopping! It is a wonderful balance between having the experience of decorating while also being content with the things you have!
I love this Natalie. I re use all my Christmas decor year after year. I love that it creates traditions memories for my kids. Though I do tend to buy a couple of new decorations every now and then.
It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who stops and smells every kind of candle! I love jar candles and keep them in my home like a staple ! And we always buy bath and body works foam hand soaps for all the holidays
Thank you for your encouragement to be frugal and minimal for Christmas decor. I am not regaining strength as I would have wished since my surgery so I will be going minimal because of energy limitations. But I LOVE my holiday house so I will savor the little bit of decor that I put out. I planned on not buying any Christmas decor this year, but I have been online pricing small Christmas trees. Like a table top tree, that would be quick to decorate and I would still have the pretty lights which is my favorite part of the decor. Thanks for another lovely video.
Amazing! :) thanks so much for showing these! I’d love to see hobby lobby, dollar tree, and target when they do get some in stock! Love how you added the bit about not overspending if it’s not in the budget!
I love re-watching your videos - especially the Christmas décor. I have to remind myself that I don't need anymore Christmas stuff every year and I actually have decluttered a lot out. When we moved into our house, I realized that some of the stuff was duplicates or just never used (in about 10 years). I am also very happy that I have some of the stuff from my grandparents (both sets) and I have been able to remember them whenever I am setting the stuff out :-)
Love your videos. *later penguin* lol went to home goods yesterday and thought of you . and a huge thank you for the message of we don't need any of this stuff. Some channels literally put u into debt just watching them lol. I'm old school vintage " pix to come around thanksgiving." So my store is goodwill. I've found, some of the most amazing stuff. Like cleaning out grandmas attic vintage lol
I love that you call it gingham! That’s what I’ve always known it as before “buffalo check” became so popular. And I love your style and message about not needing it, but it’s just extra and fun. :)
I've always called it gingham too! To me, when people say buffalo check I think more of the red and black, and when I hear gingham I think black and white
Love window shopping and your message of not needing to go out and buy everything! Definitely reusing things I already have from previous years and maybe only purchasing one or two small new things to spice it up!
In your Christmas series, it would be fun to see a video about traditions or things that make the holidays special aside from gifts and shopping--like things your family does for charity, outdoor winter activities, or baking. Looking for ideas for traditions to start with my daughter!
Hobby lobby is my go to for Christmas wrap when it’s 50-60% off it’s super adorable and it’s also thick so I can actually wrap things with my little guy 😉 I cannot wait to go look at target and Joann’s!
Love that this is an affordable haul of ideas. Sometimes seeing people vlog that they bought 12 candles from bath & body works has me like 😮😮😮 I'll never be able to afford all that just for candles. Good reminder to keep to the important things!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR WISDOM!!!!! The consumption culture of TH-cam mamas is overwhelming and kind of sad 😩!!! You’re video didn’t give me that feel though! It truly was encouraging and fun and as you said “extra” things that you don’t necessarily NEED but it makes it fun! ♥️ THANKS NAT!
I always love your channel, please could you do another QA with your mum on how she raised her 5 children that would be interesting to see her tips and inspiration...
I love that hedgehog blanket!! So cute ☺️ I love that you are practical and only buy minimally. I love Christmas but I know I want to be more minimal and intentional on decor this year but I know I’ll want to add some new to my collection this year, so it’s nice to see someone go to these stores and not overbuy. Thanks for sharing Natalie 💕
Love your attitude on Christmas. I will honestly be lucky to be able to afford one new thing this year so it’s so nice to have even more pressure to spend. We are currently having our first snow of the season and I am watching this video while drinking my coffee, getting in the Christmas spirit 😊🎅🏻
I loved watching this video!!! Marshall’s has an awesome selection! I love how you feel like me and don’t spend too much each year and try to use the stuff you bought in the past! Grey is also my favorite color!! And my daughter is in PK right now and I kept thinking my daughter was talking and it’s yours haha
Hi Natalie! I love seeing you go shopping with your family! Such fun!! I LOVED some of the throw pillows you guys found at Marshall's! Unfortunately I can't find them here in Denver! Or online!! I love this time of year though! Thanks for taking us along on your shopping trip! You have inspired me! ❤
Hi Natalie! Thanks so much for making this video! Can’t wait for Christmas! I also love your style and affordable decor ideas. I usually use whatever decor I already have, but I might add a few extra items this year. It’ll be our first Christmas in our new home!
We call those little "gnomes" tomtes (pronounced tome-tuhs). My sister in law is obsessed with them and they're Scandinavian 🙂. Like the mindset about being minimal. Definitely is my plan as well!
I really enjoyed your video!!! you are so real and have great taste. your totally right about reusing decor however even i have to admit i add one new ordainment a year lol
Hello Nat, Theresa here once again this was so sweet, I love how you stated you and the rest of us don't need it, but I love watching videos like this to get ideas to make things like it at a cheaper price from things I might already have in my craft supplies or that I can get from the dollar tree or good will. I did a mini shopping trip to Goodwill and the dollar tree last week and was able to make on large wreath and two tiny ones with the 30 to 40 dollars that I spent at both places. You posting this just gave me more ideas and I want to thank you so much. I have been watching you since the boys were 18 months old and you are so sweet, you and Weston are so adorable together. I love the relationships you have with your mom, I am around her age and your relationship with her reminds me of the one I had with my mom and the one I have with my 21 year old.
Hello again nat, Theresa here, I have also made candles with my niece, she was 10 at the time, and is now 13, baby of the grandkids number 15 of said grands she is my little buddy we do a ton of crafts at Christmas time. We just melted down plain unscented candles in a metal bowl over a pot of boiling water like you would melt chocolate when making candy. Then we add essential oils or flavor exstracts to them for scents and we gifted those to family and her teachers
I just picked up some of those clear Christmas Ornaments for a craft with my kids. I know for sure we are going to measure the kids and cut ribbon to their height and put it in one of the clear ornaments with a little note of year, and a few of their 2019 favorites things.
I have a red Lodge Dutch oven that I still love even though my kitchen is mostly blue now. But honestly, it doesn't get used much anymore now that I have an Instant Pot. Anyway, thanks for sharing your shop with me! Would love to see what you're getting your kids and husband for Christmas.
I just got a 6 qt. grey Dutch oven a few days ago from Aldi! It was only 29.99. It’s their brand but it’s actually really good quality. I like seeing your practical haul. I try to be more minimal and not go overboard with seasonal decor. I was surprised when you said followers wanted to see bath and body.
As always, love your approach to decor shopping 💜👌🏻 So excited for the Christmas season. We are going to have an 18 month old and a one month old, cannot wait for the sleep deprivation, twinkle lights, and peppermint mochas, oh and hiding my postpartum bod in oversize sweaters 😂👏🏻
to have enough, doesn't mean have less :). I do love the espresso con Panna, thanks!! ....I can't wait for the Christmas Coffee -Video. hugs from another coffee lover ;)
Lovely!!! Thank you for pointing out the Chanukkah stuff!!! No one ever does and I felt special 💙🕎 I didn’t know I had Marshall’s as an option! I always went to Target and Hobby Lobby!
Me again, you should watch Bargin Bethany she has gone all out with the black and white checkered stuff. I am so going to try and make those wooden tree branch snowmen for my sister Betty she collects snowmen stuff. I have a saw and a lot of fallen branches in my yard so thanks
I only bought a couple of Christmas things from hobby lobby this year, and I feel like I'm trying to keep my decor on the smallerish side, Number 3 is coming about a week and a half after Christmas and I will need an easy take down, Love the Dutch Oven!!!
Yes! I'd probably have to cut it in half though. Even blanket scarves are a bit too voluminous for me. I'm quite short and petite and just look like I wrapped a throw blanket around my neck! I use all my blanket scarves as throws in my house 😅
615venus yes! I've done that many many years as an adult (and my mom did it for decades as an adult) and it's one of the reasons I'm so sentimental about Christmas. My kids don't want to see "new" they want familiar because it's what *feels* like Christmas time to them!
I totally saw you at Hobby Lobby today.. I got up the nerve to say hi and love your channel then I saw the camera in your hand and completely chickened out, hahaha..
Brandy Lauer oh gosh!!! I would have loved to meet you!!! 💕💕💕 be sure to say hi if you see me again! I'll never be bothered by that whether I'm filming or not. ☺️
If you have antique shops in your area, I'd love to see what seasonal treasures you could find in there! I went to 3 in my area yesterday and it was so magical..so many retro items that just bring nostalgia and this cozy feeling...something about pre-owned makes it special :) especially loved the old 1950 Christmas cards, with such beautiful drawings, they don't make them like that any more...
I love the little tomte gnomes. I like to keep my decor rather minimal, Scriptural, and with cozy accessories like blankets and throw pillows but the gnomes are my weakness. They're everywhere. Haha.
I got the fall hedgehog blanket when you posted about it, and I just ordered the Christmas one too haha. Thanks for the obsession lol it will be my only new Christmas decor this year though.
I love that you promote being practical and minimal, it’s so easy to feel pressured to constantly buy, buy, buy every season! 😅
Ur seriously one of the only TH-camrs that actually says hey u don’t have to spend money.... I love window shopping and this is right up my alley ❤️
Natalie,
Thank you for the encouragement to be “content with such things as ye have” (Hebrews 13:5)! Your channel is such an encouragement and a delight to watch. Thank you for sharing. GOD bless!
Seeing Christmas videos in my subscription box is making me SO happy! ❤️
Anyone else slowly getting into the Christmas spirit?!
Yes ma'am!!! ✨🎄
Yes! I can’t wait!🎄❤️
YESSS!!! I accidentally put my tree up......hahahahahhhahaha :D
I appreciate that you speak conscientiously about money spending.
I love the message...we don't need this stuff...well said girl. How many beautiful things that we don't need!!! You won a suscriber!
Thank you for saying “no need to keep up with the Jones’. “ That takes a lot of pressure off! Love your videos! ♥️🎄🎁
I love your outlook on Christmas shopping. I believe we sometimes get caught up with purchasing stuff and forget what is really important: welcoming Jesus and family. Thanks for your amazing videos.

If you go to Target, I'd love to see what they have too! They're my favorite place to shop for decor, but not sure they have much Christmas out yet!
I'm so excited to decorate for Christmas!! Canadians are supposed to wait until after Nov. 11 out of respect to those who serve and have served (remembrance day). So I'm excited for November 12 😁 when I can start the Christmas music and decorating!
I'm in Canada too and finding it so hard to wait this year! Expecting a baby in two weeks and want to get it all done first.
I did not know that!!! That's awesome!!! :D
seriously my absolute fav time of the year!!
🙌🙌🙌🎄
I'm very appreciative of your stance on decor shopping! It is a wonderful balance between having the experience of decorating while also being content with the things you have!
Wonderful video! Loving your mindset about "what you have is good enough, no need for more". Adding a couple special items is completely enough.
I love this Natalie. I re use all my Christmas decor year after year. I love that it creates traditions memories for my kids. Though I do tend to buy a couple of new decorations every now and then.

I'm so glad it's an encouragement! 😘

First time stopping by and new subscriber as soon as I heard "You don't need and I don't need any of this stuff" lol Isn't that the truth sister.
morningroutine1 welcome!!! Thanks for sticking around!
Same here!! I just stumbled upon this video and I already love her for saying that c:

And her homeschooling it would be a great pleasure to see, you have such a wonderful family x

Okay so I am convinced I need to just decorate for christmas now. It just always makes me so happy to sit by the christmas tree☺❤🎄🎅🎁
Me too. I'm seriously tempted to ditch my previous way of doing things and just get my tree up before Thanksgiving!
Yep!! I'm already done decorating:) for the exception of the Christmas tree
Hello Nat, Theresa here once again this was so sweet, I love how you stated you and the rest of us don't need it, but I love watching videos like this to get ideas to make things like it at a cheaper price from things I might already have in my craft supplies or that I can get from the dollar tree or good will. Merry Christmas from Dali, China!!!!! Loved the “mini haul”! Such great stuff!!!
Love this video! And I need wrapping paper so I'll totally be going to Marshalls.
Thanks for sharing! Please can you show us how you incorporate the red and gold stems into your tree. I've never seen that done!
So many cute Christmas things!
Thanks for sharing - have a great week!

I think you’d love the Christmas items at joAnns this year. If you have one around, definitely check them out!
Will do! ☺️
I love everything in the store haha!! Every time I go into Marshall’s I want to buy everything lol. TFS! 🤗🤗
Yay, thank you! I’m going to Marshall’s today! I really hope they have that hedgehog blanket 😂🎄🦔
Let me know if you find it! I also linked it in the description box from TJ Maxx if you're interested! 🦔
Natalie Bennett thank you so much!!
I have that black check blanket! The made in Portugal ones are the best!!
Wau wau beautiful video I love Christmastime 🎄🎄🎄
I am hoping to see more Christmas shop with me videos. Hoping to see Target most of all!
Bath and body works does have good stuff for christmas and fall!
I love the hedgehog blast so adorable...
I just picked up some of those clear Christmas Ornaments for a craft with my kids. I know for sure we are going to measure the kids and cut ribbon to their height and put it in one of the clear ornaments with a little note of year, and a few of their 2019 favorites things.
What an awesome idea! ♥️

I've got a what I got my kids video planned in the next couple of weeks!

I try to be more minimal and not go overboard with seasonal decor. I was surprised when you said followers wanted to see bath and body.
Many people wanted to see it! Why is that surprising? ☺️
Just because they don’t sell much decor. Or maybe they do now. I haven’t been in a while.
You rock! Great video and wonderful message! Have a lovely day!
Yay!! So ready for Christmas!!
No one ever does and I felt special 💙🕎
I didn’t know I had Marshall’s as an option! I always went to Target and Hobby Lobby!
It was a lovely display! I thought my Jewish and Messianic Jewish viewers would enjoy! 🕎
Natalie, I highly recommend that you check out a hobby lobby if you have one near you.
I saw most of those pillows at Gabe’s for $8 a piece! Definitely go and check out those!
I’m going Christmas SHOPPING ❤️❤️🎅🏾🎅🏾🎅🏾
Omg your daughter is precious!
I feel like marshall's is a black hole I could enter and leave completely broke or without having spent a dime! Loved the video :) So cheerful!
Fun tip for small thin blankets you can wear them as scarfs
Yes! I'd probably have to cut it in half though. Even blanket scarves are a bit too voluminous for me. I'm quite short and petite and just look like I wrapped a throw blanket around my neck! I use all my blanket scarves as throws in my house 😅
@@NatalieBennett i use my scarfs as throws to and i totally get im short and petite to and look like im suffocating lol
Thank you for going to Michaels! Everyone goes to Hobby Lobby, which we don't have here in Boston.
My Hobby Lobby has zilch!
How cool would it be to challenge ourselves to use the same Christmas decor as last year but in a new and different way.
"Forget you penguins!" :( I'll take you penguins!!!
Haha.
Hey wish you happy Christmas
I love shopping for Christmas
It's the best!!!!!
lol i hope my son doesn’t end up being scared of nutcrackers😂 i have a big one tattooed on my arm lol!!! Love your videos Natalie 💕
you were looking at "checks" or plaid (that is why is called Buffalo Plaid)...gingham is small squares
I got the fall hedgehog blanket when you posted about it, and I just ordered the Christmas one too haha. Thanks for the obsession lol it will be my only new Christmas decor this year though.
Thanks for sharing 💕
Amazing haul!
I want all of those throw pillows! LOL!
