Am happy my grandparents were part of the beginning upto date we are used to the word "nyasach abongo kwara modak gendia"meaning the lord of my grandfather abongo who resides at gendia am very much humbled may he continue resting in peace n greatful he was part of this.
In 1990 I was in Kendu Bay as a missionary/humanitarian aide. The people were just lovely. We stayed in the missionary homes down the street from the church. We worked primarily at the school. I took 15 rolls of film. It was a eye opening, heart changing experience that I’ll never forget. Afterwards GOD sent me in another direction but I always think of the people. It doesn’t look much different than back then. I hope they got the malaria under control and the polio because it was pretty bad. Thank you for sharing. CA/USA
I am humbled to be an Adventist and proud of your noble work. May God expand your territories just as he did to Jabez. I hope I will pray in this vintage church before my days on this earth be no more.
@JARUNDA ...YOU HAVE FORGOT TO SAY SOMETHING IN THIS VIDEO..... between the video at 0.44 and 0.45....something called BALAA ...(it's given to Ruminates....as a salt licks....That thing can make your cows/ goats gets WORMS....)...it's also used to preserve fish........I once brought that Balaa l will never forget that place.......you didn't not say the origin of the name ONYANGO...A.K.A JOKONYANGO CLAN and also go to a place called...ONENO NAM...(l like this place because of the BOILED FISH.....)....
It couldn't have been built in the Middle Ages. The Middle Ages spanned about a thousand years, from 500-1500 AD. You have just said the missionaries completed the Church building in 1906?

The history is copied and pasted. Read word by word with no prior Adventist knowledge. What a waste!
