Thanks for updating more Bach suites! It is exciting to see you spending effort not only on the music itself but also polishing the micing, mixing and filming. I am motivated by you to play Bach on electric bass and it is now an indispensable part of my daily life.
Does your magnetic pickup sound come from the active preamp with the active mic sound together, or do you get your magnetic PU sound passively? I heard that later version of the Marleaux Contra have an option to have "passive magnetic PU + active mic" sound at the same time. My Contra must use active preamp through one output jack to use the mic. I guess passive PU sound will be more pleasant and warmer :)
Thx a lot for reaching out! My Contra has to separate outputs: PU and the mic! I did several different things concerning the options you get this way for the recording! I don‘t think that active/passive on the Pickup side does a big difference :)
Bach sounds so incredible on bass. You inspired me to practice!
X2
Thx 🙏🏻
Beautiful playing!

Thanks a lot❤️
This divine music sounds very natural when performed by you . Like a glow among the darkness into which we have been dragged
Thank you

How often do you use the b string in your playing?

Do you have any intent to release the full cello suites on music platforms? I'd love to be able to listen to them in their entirety on streaming.
Fretless sounds better
