    Looks like a really nice little machine there! Thanks for the demo! They do make even cheaper ones, but a more basic model, less stich choices. Looks pretty sturdy! (and cute!)

    Dude, I was looking at this machine to learn to sew on and just wanted a quick review to see if it was worth the money. Because you told us right up front that we could skip to the last minute of the video, when most creators make us listen to blah, blah, blah, for 20 minutes, I subscribed. Thanks so much!

    I would put that in my camper for quick repairs or fun crafty projects to do on rainy days! My very heavy and expensive Bernina is best left at home, but a small machine like this would be great to have on an extended camping trip or for those full-time RVers! I don’t watch TV and always need something to do at night, and what I like to do is SEW! Thanks for reviewing this! I love it!

    Looks like a nice one for piecing a quilt. Perfect size to take to a class or even on a vacation. Dog sitting? House sitting? Now you can have a machine with you! I agree about the reverse, not a good placement.

    OMGOODNESS!! It’s so cute and I don’t need it but you KNOW I want it!! I travel for a living and when I stay at my sister house before I start work the next day I’ve often told my sister that she needs a sewing machine there for me to work on my projects and she said no cause there’s no room. This would be the perfect size.!! YEAH….I may need to get this. 😊

      You need a better sister. How much room would a sewing machine take up in a closet? And its a great money saving skill. What does she do with a loose seam or the clothes dont fit right? Throw them away?

    I would expect this toy to be $50. I just spent well over $1300for my professional heavy duty zigzag canvas and sails sewing machine and that machine goes thru 12 layers like hot knife thru butter. I could see getting this for a kid learning to sew since everything comes with this. Interesting review, thanks.

      Yea its a pretty bad unit. We bought it for our daughter and she was so disappointed and said its a toy too. We contacted Vevor but they said that its been 40 days since I ordered it and passed the time we can return it.
      We had bought this as a gift and did not realize how short a window they have which they support their products.
      My daughter s a frail 18 year old and is able to pick it up with one finger its so light. She is working on a TH-cam video with her review of it.

    Cute little starter sewing machine. Glad you tested the 3 layers of denim. It’s awesome that included the sewing kit. that would give a beginner a chance to get some sewing done without having to learn to wind the bobbin right away. I would think the scissor is just for snipping threads - can’t see someone getting much fabric cutting done with the shortness of the blade. Did it come with an instruction manual? If so, how did it read?
    My girlfriend bought me an $80 starter machine to use to do her alterations when I’m in town. I found the pressure foot didn’t lift high enough to get any layers of fabric under it. The thread spool could not handle a regular size thread spool and bobbin winding was problematic. The instruction manual was hard to read as an experienced sewist. It wasn’t written for beginners. It was frustrating to use for me.

    • @timothytotten9409
      @timothytotten9409  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It did come with an instruction manual and it was decent. I would have to hand it to a beginner to see if it makes sense to them. I had no issues but I’ve been sewing for 30+ years now. Wow, I feel old! Lol

      Oh ya. What about the gaps between the footer & the surface? I got bought a mini portable machine before, & the gap there kinda, not much.

    The reverse would be a huge no for me. That switch will break. They need to redesign that. Otherwise, I agree, it's perfect for someone who does the occasional repair.

    • @timothytotten9409
      @timothytotten9409  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It is probably the biggest drawback for me. I don’t know how hard it would be for them to redesign, but perhaps they can make it a separate button or lever, like other machines.

      It keeps the motor always turning forward. Even when machines let you do a back stitch, the engine usually still runs forward. It’s typically a gear that switches to move the feed dogs backward.

    Interesting! If it were not for that awkward “reverse” issue, I would buy that in a heartbeat for classes! Being plastic, I can’t see that switch holding up very long if used by an experienced stitcher who is used to backtacking every time. Thank you for the review.

    • @timothytotten9409
