Bought one of these. Modded it with a fender himass bridge, Seymour Duncan quarter pounder, and sanded the neck. The thing rips! I actually like the stock pickup too, but it wasn’t cutting it for the band.
@@squirtcobain477 Absolutely. Just get the green scotchbrite pads and lightly sand to feel or until the shine is gone. It doesn't take a lot of pressure either.
Speaking as a bassist whom uses a plectrum. I don't care for the technique used here. Sounds very scratchy. You can get away with that technique on a highly distorted guitar but for a Bass not so much. That being said this is an excellent precision Bass which I would recommend for anybody who can afford it. GC has it on sale for 870 last I checked.
Most people probably think of Donald “Duck” Dunn when they see a red vintage p-bass. But i think of AC⚡️DC's Cliff Williams who played a red Fender Precision Bass on his 1977 debut album "Powerage" before he switch over to Music Man. 🤘🏼🎸 (By the way, Röck bass is ALWAYS played with a pick. Just saying)

Dagan’s enthusiasm is great. I bet he could play an army shovel strung with fishing line and make it look and sound fun

Is sanding the neck easy?

Is the Fender himass a direct fit without having to modify? Could you notice a difference compared to the stock bridge? Thanks.
@@michaelcano6975 yup.
Super-juicy color! They totally nailed that one!
Can you guys do a review on a Jackson Kelly? I saw it in one of your vids, albeit on the wall.
Thx for the bass love!
Dagan! Learn the slappy slap thing! :)
Avoid the tuner pedal they’re using?
Should have flats, I've tried one the neck isn't chunky enough.

Extremely versatile bass.
I wouldn't order it from PMT. They're not as bad as Gear4Music, but very close.

That's the next bass on my list. The Precision is the end all of basses.
"Listen How Vintage Sounding This Is" yet all you hear is treble not to mention playing anything but 50's music on a 50's inspired bass
I bassist instead a guitarrist would be cool

A company this size and they can't find anyone who can actually play bass, just some some douchebag guitarist using a pick down by the bridge.
I don't think that thorough & objective reviews are what they're going for.
"Rock moves" & stage aesthetics are more their thing.
Lmfao hes more than capable of playing bass
“some douchebag guitarist” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
“using a pick down by the bridge” Omg I can’t stop laughing a half an hour from my last laughing fit 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
